Just stumbled across this site and thought I'd check it out...

I have lived in Cancun for 10 years now and being in the wedding industry I was pretty amazed that about 40% of the people getting married here met online.... So, I wanted to do a bit of research myself being highly intrigued how this all works and I got a bit carried away.... I joined a few sites and had to chuckle as it was either full of enthusiastic skydiving, acrobatic 007's who seemed to work out non-stop and fulfilled the bucket list 10 times over by the time they reached 45 or it was guys in their 30's trying to find a replacement mum for their kids, oh and not to forget the 'dirty old men' the spammers and the 'sophisticated' middle aged men who only want to be contacted by 25 year olds (screaming MIDLIFE CRISIS). I always thought that dating sites are a bit like a 'human cattle market', as in a term of endearment :) and although I made some quite remarkable discoveries, emailed with a few 'ever so nice' psychopaths, met one in person, weirdos and all kinds of wonders of the world, I have to admit that I also met some really nice and interesting people. I've been single for a few years and I'm a pretty happy go lucky kinda girl with lots of wonderful expats and local friends, living in a tourist resort and having a home office makes me crave to meet some new people to get some mental stimulation. So if you have a witty, dry sense of humor, love life, sailing and music say hello :)

Welcome to the site. You have stumbled upon something a bit more unique here. Although this site is a dating site, most have been on here for years and very active in the forums getting to know one another. We pray for one another, celebrate birthdays, follow along with pregnancies, see our friends meet, develop a romance and get married, we read one another's poetry, we keep updated on illnesses of friends and their families.
