I can tell you that the Illinois & Indiana forums are pretty much dead. Last post in Illinois was 17 days ago, last one in Indiana was 7 days ago. When someone does post, it's usually either vapid or unreadable.

I assume there are other areas where this is not the case....

I can tell you that I watch the Ohio forum and at one time during August I think it was 18 days before someone posted to change what was showing up on the community list page. To me that's sad.

And compared to a year ago, the other forums are not as hopping as they use to be. There use to be new topics posted so often that within a time frame of two mins. the new/receint topic section on my home page would completely change. Now like today, when I checked in this morning everything was still the same later this afternoon in the new topics section.

And I do have to agree with the main idea here, post and you get noticed. Unfortunetly ( is it a or e after the n?) when I do post the only ones interested are guys from Uberkestan, Zug Una, India or Quazital. Not a big help since I am here in Ohio. But thats ok, not really ready for a steady dating thing just yet. A real life hug everyonce in a while would be nice though. Sorry off topic.

I think most people who complain about not getting responses are focusing on there not being many locals active. Those who do not want to meet anyone who is not local are not going to want to take time to check out the forums. But, those who will check out the forums usually enjoy them.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on that. Honestly I thought the forums were for people who really weren't looking to meet anyone but you people have cleared up that misconception for me. I wonder if other people might have thought the way I did.
