Your prayers and well wishes are working. My brain is coming back. I hope to be able to read better soon. I am an avid reader. The ammonia is coming out. Last night, it came out the membranes of my eyes which was gross but it's a good thing. I was up all night peeing it out too. Though my head still hurts a lot. The mental confusion and depression has lifted greatly. The depression was so bad at one point I almost went to the hospital because I didn't understand it was the meds. I am in much better spirits. In two weeks, I find out if it did damage for good. My mom says don't google it. It is similar to what happens to binge drinkers after years of abuse.

We find out this morning how my grandmother faired in her procedure. If we can get food and water into her, she can come home. If not, she goes into a hospice type setting for IV only. We don't know yet. She has cancer and Alzheimer's too. They keep doing weird scans but won't tell us why or what for.
