I gave up on the dating idea some time ago -- simple reality. There isn't anybody out there. But I love the site and the people, the friends I've made here and the conversations that go on here. I guess, in the end, there's more to life than dating....

Hey finding a mate has nothing to do with how you look, so looks mean nothing. I see ugly people married with lots of children every day.

I've seen a man with no arms, who drives a car, has a wife and kids, and signs checks with his feet.

I've seen Siamese twins who are attached to each other, each with a husband.

It is what is inside a person that makes them attractive and attracted to each other.

You have to take a good look at yourself. Know who you are.

Just because we are in the forums doesn't mean we are bypassing the dating portion of the site at all. The forums were originally meant as a way to screen each other through informal interaction. It may take a while for something to happen, but it can and does happen.

Jeannie, we may not see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, but unlike others that we have both discussed the same topics with, you and I have been able to have mature respectful conversations. That is a mark to your credit.

And having seen your photos, I have no doubt that you know how make yourself appealing to a man of your interest. Some of those pics demonstrate a personality who is comfortable with herself, who understands sensuality, and who knows how to relax and have fun. I'm sure you could seduce a few men.

That said, I also don't see you as someone who really wants a serious relationship at your point in life. I think you would only feel happy and comfortable in casual relationships. There are plenty of like-minded men. It is said variety is the spice of life, so have at it!

For me being on here for so long I've met an talk with lot of great people think im more here for the forums an the fun of them for now but if something else happens to come along then i will go with the flow of things but slowly an more carefully. but this is a great site for meeting great people
