My pix are uploaded to the profile but are not showing up. Instead there is an X within a [] square box where they should be. any idea on why this is?

Welcome, systm27. I see what you are talking about (one has to click on your secondary photos). I have documented this bug, so I'm hoping it will be addressed soon.

does your system go offline occasionally?....if your offline while on the site, there will be x's for the pics...its happens to me once in awhile....my kid is on my wireless and sometimes there is interference, :)
