on a site like this. I think you should introduce yourself, say hi and make a comment or ask about something that person has in the profile or on the pictures. That lets people know you took them time to look at their profile

BTW....randomness runs rampant here laugh

A profile is how you sell yourself to people who view it. Think of it like a job interview, where you're trying to make yourself look good to the interviewer, compared to your competition.
