Will do. As long as people(specifically pedos) don't try anything smart, then it should be alright.

Technically since you're 18 they would
not be pedo's, simply perverts.

This is a dating site so you will
always find a few weirdos, but for
the most part people here are pretty
decent.

Stick to the forums as much as
possible, much easier to get to
know people and make friends.

Good luck

Lol. Didn't really think on that one. Guess that wasn't really a smart comment. Well, I don't really know why I'm here. I found this site while doing some research and signed up for it. 0_o it's confusing so far. I prefer mocospace, but that site has been going downhill with all the changes.

Thinking is overrated so I wouldn't worry about it,
I am here because it's the only place I could find
with a forum.

This dating thing that's just a bonus, come for
the fun don't need any other reason.

As for being confused that will simply help
you fit in more around here lol.

(Whats mocospace?)

It's a site, but unlike this one, it's easier to navigate. Mocospace.com. It has it's own forums and chatrooms but it's been getting out of control since 9 months ago they deleted the most used forums. The results were not that great since now the forum topics are irrevelant to the forum.

What the age's round there, is it
a younger crowd or is it suitable
for all ages.

Feel kind of awkward if I was
the only slightly older person.

(very Slightly, I am not old damn it lmfao)

It's all ages but teens tend to stick to the chatrooms and the older ones to the forums. Theres around 30 chatrooms. And 12-15 forums. I don't like the chatrooms but the forums are ok. :) They get a bit out of hand though.

Yeah us oldies like the forums,
don't feel as rushed, have more
time to think before you post.
(If you're in to that kind of thing)

Chat always seems to rushes and the
ones I have been in, there are always
so many conversations going on it's
easy to lose track.

(us old people forget things
and get lost sometimes)

I prefer the forums myself. I don't really like to interact with people my age, but I'm trying to get there. I find teenagers in my age range to be less educated than myself. I like to talk and use proper grammar and language unlike most teens these days. ;)

proper grammar and language also overrated,
only in some circumstances do I find this
an issue.

maybe that because I have no idea what
it is, as long as my text lines up evenly
I am happy lol :)

Besides what's more proper then a smiley?

You could say I'm old school-ish. lol no but really, I'm into the whole greeting thing when I meet new people. You know the "hello, my name is (insert name here) nice to meet you." And the "have a good day, nice talking to you" stuff. Smileys do make a difference in writing. :)

lol indeed, they distract you from
the stupidity of the post. lmao

But yes I agree, I do like the formalities
of a forum as well.

Hello little girl, would you like to come and see some puppies?

If you're trying to be funny, then trust me, you're not.

I do not know how humorous pedo jokes are,
when you're display picture is a baby.

I think it's more that awkward type of
funny, where everyone just looks around
at one another, not sure what to do or say.

Especially if that's YOUR baby. =) a smiley can make a post flirtatious and give double meaning to a post. -_- lmao!

That is my baby. It would be extra weird to have someone elses baby as my profile picture!

I will tell you more of my pedo jokes when we go for a walk in the forest.

Very true in both cases, although I have never
mastered the use of smileys, I do like that one
alien with the probe when you put it next to the
sheep on MSN. slaphead
