I don’t think the way I dress reflects who I am as what I wear is more about making a statement and creating a persona.
I also think I’m a lot more laid back than my conservative, smart casual appearance suggests. |

does the way you dress reflect who you are? Nope, it's just clothes. what type of stuff do you wear? T-shirts, jeans, whatever is comfortable. I never "dress up." The concept makes no sense to me. I don't want to have to think about whether or not it's trendy or "in" or whatever. That's all somebody else's perception, I don't care about that stuff. do you think it says anything about you? It says I have clothes on. |

It's hard to find my size in clothes, let a lone style. I just walk around naked. I do put a reflector in the nether regions though. always so well prepared. I am always. :) |

how you dress is like "love at first sight". As much as we dont want to admit it, being yourself is scary. If you question the way you dress, you are not being true to yourself. If you want to be accepted by what you wear: fine. Just dont expect people who dress on a "higher standard" to accept it. We are what we are, people who want to be accepted for who we are, but buy OUR standards. Thats selfish. Wear what you want, when you want and if people are so shallow not to get to know you because of the way you dress, its thier loss. Just be ready not to be judged by 1st apperience. Some of the greatest people in life have looked like "freaks"; Be yourself, and truely look at what you wear. If being judged by clothing means so much: do what you have to to get those clothes and live up to others expectations, I think you will find out that you sold out for the social respect of others. Just 1 mans opinion

Just 1 mans opinion I agree for the most part, and not to argue, but: If I knocked on your door in old dingy, raggedy, worn out blue jeans, a twain rope belt, and a white, dingy stained, and torn t-shirt, and wearing worn out dollar store sandals. Would you answer the door? If so, what would be your first impression? If you would not answer the door, what would be your first impression of the person, and why would you avoid him? I'm just curious as to what kind of response would be given is all. |
