SACRAMENTO, Calif. – At least two law enforcement officers were injured during a clash with members of the Occupy movement who were at the state Capitol to protest a rally by a pro-white group.

The clash erupted about 3 p.m. Monday as California Highway Patrol and Sacramento city police officers were escorting about 35 members of the South Africa Project to a parking garage following their protest outside the Capitol building.

An Associated Press photographer says roughly 50 members of Occupy Oakland began throwing cans and bottles at the South Africa group and at the officers. The Occupy members then rushed the officers as people with the pro-whites group rushed into the parking garage.

A city police officer was injured when a member of the Occupy group jumped on him, and a CHP officer was hurt after being struck by an object. Both were taken from the scene by ambulance.

At least two Occupy members were arrested.

The violence abated after a large contingent of law enforcement arrived at the scene, about one block from the Capitol.

This is a local story of a moron that thought taking his .45 into the courthouse was a reasonable idea.. Occupy Wall Streets Finest.

Scott de Kuyper faces NYC gun charges
Arrested for bringing handgun to court

A Lewes man faces charges after he brought a gun Feb. 22 to a New York City courthouse.

John Scott de Kuyper, 53, faces second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and is out on $300,000 secured bond. A court appearance is scheduled Feb. 27.

De Kuyper showed up to a Manhattan courthouse carrying a .45-caliber handgun and five rounds of ammunition in his backpack, according to court documents.

De Kuyper, who told police he was licensed to carry the weapon in another state, was expected in court to answer charges of trying to yank a badge off the shirt of a NYPD officer during a Times Square rally. He was charged with fourth-degree attempted grand larceny, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

"Defendant attempted to push through a police barricade at the above location, informant warned defendant to stop or else he would be placed under arrest, and defendant disregarded informant's warning and went through said barricade, thereby preventing officers from keeping the streets clear," court records state.

New York newspapers report the officer involved in the case was Chief of Department Joseph Esposito, the highest-ranking uniformed member of the NYPD.

The whole lot of them are criminals. There have been a number of sxual assaults at every Occupy camp then they tried to cover it up with their so called justice committee. They they screwed over the churches that were letting them stay there for free, then the gun incidents, attacking police, destroying property etc. These guys are real role models alright. whoa
