One of my life teachers told me; "When you go looking for vegenance, dig 2 graves." I tried to NEVER go there. Might have slipped, a couple times. Another lesson has been KARMA. IT IS REAL. You "reap what you sow." I will tell you though, ANYONE harming those special to me, WILL have a problem. Esp. at this age, what do I have to lose?

depends on a lot of things.....
You're ability to go off the hook on someone.....
where you live...
who's around at the time......
Inside the house or out.......
different states interperate laws differently.
In some even self defense can be deemed agression.
In others.......make sure you defend yourself and you're property inside you're home. Outside and you may go to jail too.
Dont hurt them too badly, many courts are giving awards to burglars who have been badly injured in home invasions.
I like kentucky's take on it.......
What ever you do to an intruder inside you're own home.....is fair game.
If it happens outside, drap them in and clean up good before the cops come!!!

Same here ghost....

If you have a No Tresspassing sign or the tops of your corner fence posts are painted purple (no joke), you have the right to shoot anyone on that property. But, if no signs are posted, you gotta make sure the body is inside the house when the law shows up.

Guess it would depend on the situation if I have time to call the cops I would and defend myself if needed..... Now days and times your better off letting the cops take care of the situation. But in no way would I just sit back if someone came after me...

I am a Vietnam vet. And a avid gun collector, I have seen a lot of death in my time. Whoever they are they better hope I don't find out who they are!!!!

I have lived in the country most of my life. Police are 30 miles away.
No time to wait on them.
Where I live now, judges are awarding damages to criminals for injuries suffered in their crimes.
So the rule of thumb here in the sticks.....
call police, shoot.......but make sure ya kill'em....so they can't sue ya!!!!!

Think there is a lot to be said about planning vengence requires digging two graves. If you just live long enough the opportunity usually comes to you with out planning.

I am am kind of with Old Sage about the idea of I am at the age/condition I would not mind taking the rap for something if someone hurt my kids or grandkids or someone i REALLY felt was innocent. I do think tere are some truely evil people in the world that I would not mind taking out.

I should say...

If I know that if I know someone has an actual record with the local law..I do prefer to call law first...those guys show up all jacked up on adreniline and they got guns and tazers.

I got zero problem letting them do thier job. I have whipped that one out on a former friend...."You even look at me wrong, I will call the law and the next time your kids see you, it will be in jail."

It is pretty effective.
