As I think about the events that occurred.
It just does not seem fair.
You were not even aware.
Of what was coming your way.

It never crossed your mind.
The friends you would have to leave behind.
But even after all these years.

Of the day I was told.

The times we had kissed.
Wishing I had not resist.
The love you wanted to share.
All that tender loving care.
You were always thinking of me.
And the way it would be.

To this day I still can see your face.
The night you came to my place.
We sat and talked of the times ahead.
We did not see the dark clouds overhead.
That was there ready to take you from me.

Awwww Denise & SCG is it not strange the times we think of the things in the past that had an inpact to our lives and at times we must wonder what if? That event had not happen. But it goes to show we never know what tomorrow will bring.
