the history of the 'states' is no less foul than that of the 'feds' for me to get behind the idea of passing off from one form of control to another I am not cool with the idea of regressing to several mini governments,,,thats just me I think his ideas are a nice cliche 'smaller government' but in reality dont seem to have positive ideas to REPLACE what the government does,,,except blind faith in states,,,which I dont have You don't have blind faith? What do you call God? blind faith in the states,,,,, Then my question is withdrawn for me not reading more closely

I like States rights. If you don't like the crappy laws in California you can move elsewhere without much problem. yes, and the more of that that happens the less of a 'united' states we will become The United States of America is a corporation. It is not a country. America is a country.

I like States rights. If you don't like the crappy laws in California you can move elsewhere without much problem. yes, and the more of that that happens the less of a 'united' states we will become maybe we can pull a russia and change our name to the 'independent states of America' United States of America.... sounds like a lot of independents making a whole to me.... Freedom is all about everyone doing "their own thing." Are you against freedom? I'm not suggesting that this country scrap all their laws, I'm just saying that we (the states) don't need some "federal government" enforcing their idea of law and order on us.

I think in our history, we tried that with the confederacy, I dont think it was an experiment that went well then and I dont think it will go well a second time around

Freedom is all about everyone doing "their own thing." Are you against freedom? I'm not suggesting that this country scrap all their laws, I'm just saying that we (the states) don't need some "federal government" enforcing their idea of law and order on us. Im against unbridled freedom, yes,,,its commonly called chaos in a 'society' or a 'family' certain boundaries and rules must be agreed to and adhered living in a tunnel alone, we can pretty much do whatever we want,, living with others, its not nearly that simple,,,

It was the way it was supposed to be in the beginning. We, the people, form our communities and we the people make our own community laws. The Federal government gives us money, and that money is like a bribe. If we don't conform to their standards or laws, they threaten to stop giving us money. The states need to be more independent and they need to stop getting dependent on Federal programs. That way, they can govern themselves.

We have a rule of law, courts, judges, and a constitution and bill of rights that has worked for a couple of centuries. So now it's just a piece of old paper in some museum? Sounds a little un-American to me!

Sounds a little un-American to me! interesting, considering the current constitution has been amended 27 times since its original inception I guess its more 'flexible' than the grail some wish it to be Usurpation by force or deception is not recognised as sufficient under the Constitution as binding...."Congress shall pass NO laws....." guess that part is meaningless! The Constitution is a living document...YES.... subject to change... by popular vote, yes.... but NOT by violating other portion set forth at it's conception! It is a LIBERTY document, NOT a tyranny document for whoever has the most money or power! WE ARE A REPUBLIC, NOT A DEMOCRACY! I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the "Republic" for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
