The traditional roll call of the states, which will will permit the state leaders to promote their homes, will take place on the penultimate day of the convention.

To have a speech formally putting his or her name in nomination, a candidate has to show a plurality of delegates in five (5) delegations as § 40(b) of the rules of the Republican Party adopted by the last convention specifies:

"Each candidate for nomination for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States shall demonstrate the support of a plurality of the delegates from each of five (5) or more states, severally, prior to the presentation of the name of that candidate for nomination."

By June 29, this requirement was only meet by two candidates, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum. Ron Paul has shown plurality in three states and Newt Gingrich has done the same in two states

Sucks for Ron Paul and his supporters.

Don't you ever check facts before spouting your BS?

He has a plurality of 5 states or more by delegate count dispite the RNC and the GOP trying to strip his delegates of their status.

I pity you for your lack of understanding or willingness to research a topic before attempting to speak on it.

The only way he won't be on the ballot in Tampa is if the GOP/RNC continue to break their own rules as they have througout the primaries....basicly, vote fraud and corruption.

You may as well vote for Obozo because voting for Robme is just 8 more years of Bush and Obozo 3.0.

At least Obozo only get 4 more years to further destroy our nation

Don't confuse frustration with madness. Because some won't pull their heads from their lower extremities and realize what they are being sold as candidates, keep voting for the same old status quo BS puppets, and then ***** about the results they get.... now that's madness!

He will NEVER support Robme, even tho they are civil....friends...

As for the rest of it, time will tell....it's always difficult to win in a rigged election, but not impossible!

It's far from over yet.

And then there's the lawsuit against the RNC/GOP pending.....

If he doesn't support Romney that will hurt any chance his son has at getting the nomination in the future and that is the plan.

Exactly. He is positioning his son to step up and run for President and also trying to sell subscriptions to his newsletter.

You don't even have the slightest clue what you are talking about! as usual....

Rand is Rand, will make or break himself by his own merit, has NOTHING to do with his father or his brand of politics.

RP WON'T support Robme, not for Rand or anyone, unless he adopts a few important policies favorable to Pauls politics. It's about America, freedom and liberties, NOT Rand!

Get a clue, do some reasearch, before you start playing at being a mind reader. It helps when you know what you are talking about to begin with.

Oh yeah, because everyone supports... what did you call him a few months ago "Multiple Choice Mitt" But now you brag like he was your choice from the get go... Paul and Rand have different political views on some things... not everyone fits into your neat little world of black and white...get a clue!

He has 3 or 4 other state delegations as well....but they are under a legal federal court challenge against the RNC/GOP who striped the delegates (unlawfully) of their rights.

When did I ever say I have supported Mitt from the beginning? I have never said that. I did however say I would support ANY candidate against Obama other then Ron Paul and Romey is the Republican nominee that is facing Obama in November.

Do I like Romney? Yes. Do I like his politics? Not completely. Is he my frist pick? No. Is he my second pick? No. Is he my third pick? No. He is my last pick because no matter what he is 100 times better then Obama and 1000 times better then Paul.

rofl Your politics? Obviously NOT thank God! I have a mind that prevents such brainwashed thinking!

Welfare/control (Obozo), Warfare/oppression (Robme), I've done both, I choose neither!

The fact that the Banksters are happy with either choice they have "allowed" us the illusion of voting for, is in itself reason enough to opt for a different one!

Robme and the RNC raised $100,000,000 in corporate/banker money in May!

Obozo and the DNC raised $80,000,000 in corporate/banker money in May

Ron Paul raised $80,000,000 for his whole campaign of the peoples money, and is giving them both a run for the WH .... and is still a thorn in their corrupt status quo sides!

yawn Let them sue all they want. They wont get anywhere. yawn

You also must be counting Nevada in you saying winning the pluralty of the votes. Actually here in Nevada Romney won the popular vote but Paul won the state convention because they had a record low turnout of delegates that could vote because they were not happy with ANY of the candidates.

That should definitely count.

But his time is over now.

Some people just don't get it....

It's not over till it's over.

He's the only Rep candidate running besides Robme. Robme is under lawsuits and investigation for MULTIPLE federal crimes from real estate fraud to ballot tampering, now lying to the SEC and possibly tax evasion....

There is also a lawsuit pending against him and the GOP/RNC that will be heard in federal court before the convention in Tampa, involving voter fraud and ballot tampering.

It's never wise to assume until all the facts are in.....

DELEGATES

All candidates may be stripped of all their delegates in the lawsuit if the judge accepts the evidence of vote/ballot tampering (and there is LOTS...video evidence as well!)

Ther is also the challenge that to "BIND" delegates to a candidate is illegal under federal voter laws, and the RNC/GOP even states as much in their rules and guidelines.... so the judge has no choice but to agree, and bound delegates will be released as "free agents" to vote for whom they choose.

That would give us an open convention with a level playing field, and that would be exciting as H3LL!

Like I said, it's not over till it's over!
