this morning like maybe 5 or 6 or 7AM i all of a sudden felt my body lifting up over my bed headed towards the ceiling. Then my eyes or head felt like a helicopter and i flew forward like a jet going at lighting speed and ended up plunging in a huge body of water like the ocean and i was moving in the water being tossed and thrown and i can hear the bubbles and i saw a shadowy fish or something then i saw an evil face or its eyes black swirling around it was surreal like, out of fear i wanted to get out of this trance like state and as i came to i felt the engine shutting off like a helicopter in my head near my eyes. i was like half asleep and awake. it was weird. was it a evil spirit or ghosts or demon? i can hear things sometimes that are not there like a bang noise too.

I missed your point? I guess I did. What was your point anyway? That something I said was pointless? How do you judge what is "unnecessary"

Well if everything is an hallucination, then the above statement of belief is not a fact.

So, how do you know for certain that this reality is not a totally false reality?

I personally believe that there is a logical explanation for everything, even demons. I'm not saying they are 'not real' either. They are just a real as they appear to one who perceives them. All things are created within the field of consciousness.

I don't think we should ever draw lines between perception and reality, because reality is perception.

Listen, I'll explain simply:

There's reality, and there are hallucinations, among others.

-And everything is NOT hallucination. That's YOUR idea. In psychiatry and other branches of mental sciences, we still distinguish hallucinations from perception of a real event...maybe they're not up to speed, send them a memo-

Your point WAS pointless, because we don't have to be told all experience is subjective. DOH.
But It's not ALL hallucinatory. It's subjective. BIG, BIG difference.

But hey, if I dream I pay the taxguy but don't really do it, and rely on my dream to be able to say I did, I'm going to have an unpleasant surprise sometime down the road.

Thank goodness I can differentiate between a dream and reality.

So maybe to a point we can discern ya think?

And you can forget about that inane point you made.

We all know the subjective world poses a challenge to objective research, but it's not like we can't learn more about how it functions and maybe explain some of these things.

True reality exists in the present moment. There is a fine line between memories and fantasies, which can both be altered easily.

Shared perceptions are what we call "reality." But if you perceive something and no one else does, then it is called "hallucination." Ultimately I suppose the majority rules on what we decide is real and what is not.

But all of it is perception and that is all it is.
