I fail every day hippy. I failed last night big time. Serving myself. And yet the lord still covered me. Non of us can truly walk the walk. But I am called to and can chose to desire what is right. And each day I remember to do this I become more like Christ in my walk with the knowledge I will never be like Christ. And God wanted me to know that's ok. He asked that I seek what is right and more and more what I want is what is right. Then others start to see Christ in my walk even when I am still a sinner. And it's no longer me I am trying to impress the world with but Christ that dwells in me.

I can only share what the lord has put on my heart and the wisdom he calls me to seek. Yet I still fail. Trust me. I am not confident the young lady I spent Dinner with last night saw Christ in me. More like a guy interested in the bits and parts she was given. My walk falls short all the time. But God wants me to know that I will and it's already forgiven and he calls me to put my eyes back on him and off the bits and parts. And even look for Him in her.

We don't save. He does. So if others cannot see Christ in you, what message can you hope to share with those who are seeking answers?

I cannot walk the walk. I cannot talk the talk. But He can. And others see Christ through your failures in your walk when you seek Him when you fall short.

Shorter answers John. Ok I'll try what

If you are asking if any Christian is perfect at walking the walk, then the answer is "No".

In Romans chapter 7, the Apostle Paul talks about his own failure to walk the walk. He confessed that he continued to sin despite the fact that he was an Apostle.

In Galatians chapter 2, the Apostle Paul describes the time when the Apostle Peter failed to walk the walk.

If these Apostles made mistakes while walking the walk, then it would be foolish to think that any Christian could perfectly walk the walk.

In 1 John 1:8, we are reminded that Christians continue to sin even if they desire not to.

Like Hikerjohn, I, too, fail every day. However, I remember what the Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:1.

We must practice to mortify the deeds of the flesh.

If we dwell on our imperfections and weaknesses,
we will find ourselves making allowances for them and finding occasions to please the flesh and making excuses.

Walking after the spirit is a must...then we won't fullfil the lusts of the flesh.

"Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath,
even as others." Ephesians 2:3
