I have tried deactivating my account but my information is still showing up in google searches even though I deleted that information prior to deactivating. This includes pictures I have removed showing up with links to justsayhi.com. Google will not clear the cached pages since it thinks it is still an active page. How do I fix this?

You would go here to deactivate your profile: http://mingle2.com/user/show_settings You may want to go here first, to stop emails: http://mingle2.com/inbox/mail_settings And to: http://mingle2.com/user/edit_photos to remove your photos (optional..you may want to leave them in case you return :-) If that is so, nothing further will appear. But no one has control over Search engines and the info they have already gathered. |

Old cached pages will disapear over time or google etc. can remove them. What want removed is the picture I took down from this site that still shows up in searcher for justsayhi.com a site I never signed up for.

If it was a linked picture, it goes when the link goes.
If it is a cached picture, it may go when refreshed but I am unsure of that. I am guessing the crossover from JustSayHi is the issue so perhaps an admin here can pick this up. |
