Gypsy, I think the Josefina Stalin look went out sometime in the 1950s....

I think Mustache Woman would have to pretty near the top of the Ick List....just ahead of Three-Leg Woman and Giraffe Head Woman....

As funny as this is and I admit to laughing ... this is something that is serious and extremely embaressing for some people . I have something called PolyCysticOvarian Syndrome which causes my hormones to go crazy .... unfortunatley this brings some horrible , embaressing symptoms . I was diagnosed when I was 15 and have fought a constant battle w/hair where it shouldnt be since I was 13 . These lazer treatments you all speak of so nonchalantly are not practical or affordable for everyone . This is something that has sent me so far into despair and depression that I have often felt my life was not worth carrying on .

So go ahead and laugh its cool ive grown used to it and im sure others like me have learned to shrug it off .

Brandy, you are not alone. I don't like to air things out much in public bu I agree with you 100%...I KNOW what you are going through. Make things tough. Keep your chin up and eyes open. And do like me and find the best tweezers in the world as well as a venus razor. (easier on the lip area. I can't wax, it doesnt work for me, and lazer is out of the question, wayyyyyyyyy too expensive. Just wanted to tell you that you are not alone and can email anytime if want to.flowerforyou

As for making jokes about it, meh.....it's better to joke about it than let it get to you. HUGS!

Nobody's perfect.

If she was a nice person with a good personality, sure, I'd date her, moustache and all.

Tho I probably wouldn't ask, I would be a little curious as to why she wouldn't at least shave it off.

But, to each their own.

Ahh creations thank you so much for saying something ... and waxing doesnt work for me either . Im pretty good at covering it up but im super paranoid anytime I go out that someone is looking at me even if noone else can tell its there I can . Your right joking about it does make it better . I tell my Mom I could make a killing if I joined the circus .

Gypsy dont feel bad I just thought I should say something because this is a real problem that some people have no control over . flowerforyou

you don't have to feel terrible gypsy. you weren't directing it at no one.

i make jokes about things that i have to deal with all the time and people who don't know me that go through the same things get mad at first but it wasn't aimed at anyone.

brandy, i'm glad that you aren't offended by the subject and i hope that you never lose that spirit.

I'm wondering why wax doesn't work. When I was a hairstylist, I would wax people.....mostly lip wax, chin wax, eyebrows.......and even some men with the unibrow....

Its very coarse thick hair in my case ..... and even if it was waxable who would want to wait for it to grow long enough to wax .

For instance could you wax a mans face thats been shaving for 10years ? Prbably not the hair would be to coarse . Right ?
