The Proof of His Goodness! · Monday, January
28th · Pastor Chris
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew
no sin; that we might be made the righteousness
of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
What an awesome truth revealed to us in the
verse above! It says that Christ Jesus was
made sin for us, so that we might be made the
righteousness of God in Him. What a
phenomenal truth! Unfortunately, this blessed
reality is one of those "unexplored highlands" in
the Christian experience. Many haven’t
understood it yet. Notice again what it says: "…
that we might be made the righteousness of God
in him…." This is different from us being made
righteous. God made Jesus to be sin for us, who
knew no sin, not just so that we might be made
righteous, but that we might become the very
righteousness of God in Him. What does this
mean?
The Greek word translated righteousness in our
opening verse is "dikaiosune," and it properly
means equity; the quality of fairness. This
means that the righteousness of God particularly
describes His character. Therefore, we’re the
unveiling of His character. This is wonderful! It
means that God points to us as trophies of His
goodness. Goodness is a measure of character.
He wants all principalities and powers to look at
us and see his goodness: "To the intent that
now unto the principalities and powers in
heavenly places might be known by the church
the manifold wisdom of God" (Ephesians 3:10).
This is what He means by us being the
righteousness of God in Christ.
Romans 4:24-26 says, "Being justified freely by
his grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a
propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare
his righteousness for the remission of sins that
are past, through the forbearance of God; To
declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:
that he might be just, and the justifier of him
which believeth in Jesus."
What this means is that through the redemption
that’s in Christ Jesus, God has proven Himself
just, in justifying the sinner. Jesus Christ was
delivered to death for our offences, and raised
back to life, not for our forgiveness, cleansing,
or redemption, but for our justification. Blessed
truth! It completely staggers natural
comprehension, that we’re the proof of His
goodness. We’re His righteousness in
manifestation.
Confession
My life, O Lord, is a proof of your righteousness;
I’m a trophy of your goodness, showcased for
the world to see that your excellences and
beauty are inexhaustible. I declare today, that
through me the character of your goodness will
be lavishly expressed to everyone I come in
contact with. Amen.

it's good to come up with what is originated from the bible than books especially from illicit pastors. it's more than a fact to say, Jesus is irreplaceable as the mediator before God and Mankind. His kingdom come and all the glory be seen on the earth till many bows down before Son of God, Jesus Christ the righteous. be blessed

Amen!

I'm blessed by the way the writer expounded
on the very Truth of the Scriptures.

Christ made sin for us,
and we being made the righteousness of God.
The world will not be saved except we show them Christ.
