Which ideas make the most sense?

I think the government should attempt to amend the constitution or leave it alone.

This video is really funny!

I remember watching some of these "lessons" a while back, but they are even more true now.

How liberals think.

The video gives a great discussion of the "large magazine" mentality of the gun control crowd.

Printer already been repossessed, and it would be a long while to print Metalparts,or until Plastics become strong enough to take those 50'000lb pressure those Cartridges develop!

Those pressures are only on the barrel. The printer technology was used on the lower receiver in the video which is the part the Feds consider to be "the gun".

The chamber is part of the barrel. I have some parts to build another AR-15 if I ever get around to it. I also have some plastic mags that suck.

The point of the video is that the software for the 3D printer of such parts is already out, so gun control of these items is now impossible.

ATF is not controlling the sale of barrels, just lower receivers, suppressors, etc.

No matter what, some people are shaking in their Boots!
Really don't need anything as fancy as a 3D-Printer!
Lathe,Mill and a few other Tools will help to crank out some pretty good Firearms!laugh
So much for "Guncontrol"!

Pass laws to remove guns out of the hands of people hurt the good law biding citizens. A criminal by natural does not care what the law is and will get a gun in the shadows and back alleyway. Places like Chicago, which has strict gun ownership laws have hire gun crime rate where as states like Georgia has allowed more gun ownership and places to carry guns, has decrease crimenal activity.

Still the main purpose for the second amendment was for the people to stay well armed, not just against a local thief or gangs but also against a government that will try to over reaches and oppress its people. After all, there will always be those that seek power and want to step on others. You only have to look at the world to see governments that are cruel to there people. Our country was set up the people would be the highest power of the land and the power divided among different elected offices so no one could ever become all powerful. Yet, the checks and balance between these are being ignored.

Constitution

Today, when a concerted effort is made to obliterate this point, it cannot be repeated too often that the Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals—that it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government—that it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizens’ protection against the government.

Yep, that one was pretty stinky. But they didn't have the latest and greatest materials to work with either. They also indicated that beefing up the section that cracked from recoil would fix the problem.

The 3D printer has ramifications that go very, very far.

Looks like a lot of work to me. Not too many milling machines around in private hands ... but there are some.

Hmm. I will fight to defend your rights, even the right to be wrong.

If you think I will give up some of my rights to make you feel better, you are sadly mistaken.
