| please send me your prayers my way doing it to save my liver! thanks in advance guys! I never had an addiction, but many I know and love have and do...It's hard because it is frustrating to see someone you love and respect get lost...I am holding you close in my thoughts and I wish you luck, returning health, peace, and happiness...Find a support group in your area and get with some peeps who have traveled the same road and understand what you are going through... | |

I just sat in the doctor's office to day and over heard him lecturing a guy that quit drinking 2 days ago that his tests and enlarged liver could kill him.
You don't want to be that guy. Also when I was in the ER after my botched gall bladder surgery, they took forever to get to me and I couldn't help but over hear them telling this guy it was too late. His drinking was going to kill him. He needed to be at least 1 year sober to qualify for a transplant and he did not have a year left to live. Don't be that guy either. I am here for you, my friend. | |

Good luck my friend. We all have personal demons to fight. Always remember the good lord loves us all.

I would think that another day sober is another day closer to better health. May your path to recovery be smooth pavement | |
