Dancing in the wind
On a warm and fragrant day
Lilacs to my back
My mind -- miles away

Where am I going
Quickly I tighten up my sail
Who is leading
I smell fear on this trail

Briskly I felt something
I never felt before
God must have danced beside me
My mind began to soar

The grass seemed much greener
As my toes caressed the ground
Jesus came and reached me
My goals... all earth bound

Instead of being miles away
With the fear of what could be
I carried love and hope
For the world to see.

Now dancing in the winds
The Lord he is my sail
Forever to be with me
As I trudge a brand new trail.
