how do i turn on instant messaging, plus how when i search who's online do i just get just women and from wot county i live in, thanks for any help.

HOW DO I IM?
First, you must have YOUR 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON:

(Or >>My Account>>Settings>>Turn ON IM)

Then you would go to the profile of the person
with whom you wish to chat.

Under their picture there is an orange button
'Instant Message' which you would click on and
the request to Instant Message is sent.

If there is no orange button labeled 'Instant
Message' it could mean one of two things.

The person does NOT have 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON.
(In which case you could email them and request
they turn it ON.)

Or, the person is in 'Stealth Mode.'

in your Search criteria who is online at the
time, gender aside.

Setting the 'Distance' parameter on Search:

Hi ..I tried to send IM to some in friends list or to new people , what is happening is that the popup IM window opens i can see tabs opened in the window . But no text is visible , unable to make put with whom which conversation is goin on .I am using google chrome. plz hel p
