Hi friends, thank you all for the support. I'm absolutely ecstatic right now. One of my facebook friends told me about his half brother who went through what I am now going through. His half brother had total blindness in both eyes, but the doctors were able to restore his vision to the point where he can now see, drive and work!!!!! Yay! What good news Topher!

I'm ecstatic!!!!! Don't want to lose my vision entirely, but it is comforting to know even if this happens, something can be done.

I'm glad he sent me a message on facebook. It also reminded me of a former coworker of mine from a previous job that I lost contact with. When I first was developing my eye problems, she told me about what she went through. Which is similar to what I'm going through. She too had total blindness, but was able to have her vision restored.

Hi friends, saw my opthamologist yesterday, it's confirmed, I am legally blind in both eyes. The good news is we're going to schedule my right eye cataract surgery asap. My pre-op consultation is June 11th. My vitrectomy surgery for my left eye will be scheduled shortly after my cataract surgery. It's an exciting time. I can't wait to get these surgeries done and get them over with. The sooner I get them done, the sooner I begin the process of healing. Thanks for the support.

Be Blessed KiK Thanks Kik. Yep, once the cataract is gone from my right eye, and the blood is drained from my left, like a certain wise man once said, "Ah be back"
