When people get a dog they are not only buying a breed they are also "buying" a breeder in a way. There's a lot of breeders out there who are less than reliable. If you are serious about selling dogs the first thing I'd do is change your picture. Not many folks are going to buy a dog from some shirtless guy on the net.

He knows how to advertise.
I do agree with you, but I don't think he is on here to sell pups.

First, the key is education. People buy from puppy mills, so why not a shirtless guy.(that was a joke) I only wish more people would do their homework when looking for a forever pet. Your first stop should be the Humane Society or a Rescue!!

I've got nothing against "pound puppies", but please don't call them "rescue dogs" unless they actually do rescue work. Also unless you saved the animal from a burning building or an ice flow in the middle of a raging river don't say you "rescued" him.

Any time you're getting a pup your first stop should be your vet or local kennel club to find out specific information on breeds and
breeders.

To me a "pound puppy" is a dog from the 'pound'(Humane Society). A "Rescue" dog is a dog that is from "A Rescue"..meaning they live in someones home instead of the Humane Society, they are fostered by people. Did they change the name? We've always called them this.

Secondly, I agree to look into Breeders, ask plenty of questions, know what questions to ask, drive to their home, see how the dogs are housed.

...a little bit tedious, but if you find or save a dog from a burning house, sure, you 'rescued' it, but it belongs to someone.
