I'd be impressed if there are any women around my area on here looking for a good man; as I consider myself one. all the profiles say that it has been longer than a month since they have been on. So many of these sights are scams. LOL

Real man hmmmm!
it depends on the kind of man you as a person is looking for...is just like you get what you pray for. your kind of man should be the man you go for any time any day. you can not be thinking of settling down and you are dating a man that is not ready to settle then what are you expecting? as a woman if you are thinking of settling down go for a man that is ready and eager to settle down too such man will cherish you everyday. with my age now if am still looking for date or friendship it simply mean that I don't love myself, because the category of the woman I need now is the woman that is ready to settle down with me whom I will cherish very day that passes by and will be the love of my life!!! |

I think you will have better luck when you look for someone you like being the Real person you like.It is easy to get all gaga about some3one for all the wrong reasons but if you like someone as they are the likely hood that it will last goes up big time and you will see them as your definition of a real man.

Looking and keeping my options open but finding the guy of my dreams is hard how do you do you know when you find him. make a list of qualities that are important to you. physical social emotional spiritual so you get a clearer picture of what you are looking for., know thyself first. Then when you know what kind of man attracts you then you may be able to pinpoint the kind of places that man would be and go there. |

I swear guys who write how nice or good or real in their screen name almost never are. Keep your pants on, I said almost.
A lot of the bad azzes and crusty ones ARE real genuine good men. Somebody said be a real woman. That means if they open a door or bring you a flower or something, just say thank you. Do not go off on how you a a feminist and can do it yourself. When they buy you dinner or something, again, say thank you and appreciate it. Don't return the favor by treating them them carp or worse keeping all your options open and two timing them. |

I don't like roast beast I don;t gamble and won't have lottery tickets in my home the TV will never be on any type of playoff ever where I dwell if a man chooses a playoff game over me in lingerie he's done (that 's a roast enough...lol) there I said it.

I hear this question often and I would like to post a journal entry from my personal journal that is relevant to this topic:
------------------------------------------------------------------- A young man asked me today, "How do you get the nicest most amazing girl you know to like you and want to be with you?" I said to him, "You can only attract what you are. You have to be the nicest most amazing man she knows and you truly have to BE it, not just appear like it" ------------------------------------------------------------------- I know it can be hard but you have to master yourself before you can find the perfect man, The perfect man will not be attracted to anything less than the perfect woman. And when I say "perfect" I mean the perfect man/woman for you as an individual. Not the perfect man according to society and superficial ideologies. |

(The more 'perfect' I become, the more my standards go up.) I concur! I'll only one additional thought... Part of becoming the "perfect" partner means truly loving and respecting yourself. You can't expect someone else to love you if you can't even love yourself. This is harder than most people realize. Most people think they do love and respect themselves, but then spend all their time beating themselves up over their flaws and mistakes. It takes time to forgive yourself, to forgive the past. But only then can you be truly ready and open to an amazing future with the "perfect" guy. |
