If the woman that you loved and want to marry told you that she
believes that a womans place is in the home and once married she does not expect to continue working. That the 2 of you will use one checkbook inwhich she,ll be in charge of as well as any
credit cards.
You are to go to church every sunday and you are not allowed to drink beer except for social gatherings and then its only 1 six pack.

Yes!
I could live happily within a traditional enviroment.
I think with out structure, there are no boudaries which lead to other problems.

Ok.....since I am the smarter of the 2 as usual and I am great with money, I say he should let me handle all the finances.

I would go insane if I had to stay home all the time and had to ask for money......been there done that don't wanna do it again.

I dont make rules about the drinking or the church or the social affairs, so that wouldnt come into play.

I believe in some things but staying at home and not working is a heck no for me.

I have a hard enough time supporting myself on my income. Supporting another person would be next to impossible.
There is nothing "traditional" about a relationship. Every one is unique. One couple's idea of "normal" isn't necessarily another's.

Actually ladies this thread was for man to respond too, there is another one posted for women.
There are a lot of women that chose a traditional lifestyle.
I think most of you know what that is. I,ve given a few examples. But here in the south church on sundays is big.
If a woman thats married goes to church without her husband everybody wants to know where he is.
And the money issue. Yes she should manage the household the money and everything that goes with it. You the man simply work
eat and sleep.
