I tried twice yesterday to upload a photo using iPhone instructions and emailing it and it's still not visible to me. What am I doing wrong and is there another way?

I have done the troubleshooting but I only get offered the exact same set of instructions. I have no idea how to tell how many pixels my pic is (it's a regular photo) and I'm hesitant to keep trying for fear I will get 10 photos all the same on my profile at the end.

soufie usually posts this:

How do I upload from an IPhone or IPad?
"I-phone/I-pad users should now see a specific set of instructions, on
the edit photo page. Below are the steps for uploading from an i-phone.

Click the edit photo button on your account page. on the right side of
the page, you should see an address, inside a box. That is a clickable
link. the menu should appear like this...

pbsfai010wzuasya@m.mingle2.com

1. Click on the address above, and copy it. (not on this post, on your
Mingle2 photo page)
2. Open the photo app on your device.
3. Select the photo you want to upload.
4. Tap the screen to bring up the on screen controls.
5. Tap the "send" icon at the far left of the on screen controls.
6. Select the "Email Photo" button.
7. Tap the "To:" textbox at the top to paste the email address
you copied earlier.
8. Tap the "Send" button.

These instructions are only for the I-phone/I-pad users.
Other mobile device users should be able to upload normally."

Sorry to learn of the trouble you've encountered, 1Bren. We are not having any iOS image issues at this time (I just uploaded a couple of photos from an iPhone to be sure).

Photos should be in .gif, .jpg, or .bmp format, of course. I don't know how to check on an photo's pixel count from an iOS device, but I'm looking into it.

Couldn't find out how to find the pixel information on an iPhone, so I'm assuming you only have access to your phone when making the suggestions below.

1) As you email the photo from the mobile upload interface, select a smaller size when the email prompts you what size photo you'd like to send. When you are emailing images on an iPhone, it should ask if you want to send a 1M, 200kb, or 100kb image (or something like that). Just choose a smaller size.
2) Make the photo smaller by cropping it on your phone.

How do I make Photos 'Private?'
When you place a picture in the 'Main Pic' slot
it will allow you to designate it as "Public"
or "Private."

To give someone access to the 'Private' images,
you merely right-click on the 'Private' photo
which gives you a drop-down menu, left-click on
'Properties' and copy the URL (link) of that
photo and send it via email to anyone you wish.

It stays 'Private.'
