I watched the hearings today in the Senate. Although this was an open hearing(not classified) something "slipped" out that I don't think helps Obama's cause.

Obama's loose lips got us into this mess with him drawing a redline without any plan to back it up when he said it.
He had several months to get support and or draw up a plan if Assad crossed it. He did nothing until the video of gas attack went viral and forced him into a corner.

Before today, I was under the impression like most Americans that this was the second time Assad used chemical weapons on his people(there were reports of a third, but that was never "confirmed").
Well during the testimony, Kerry's loose lips "slipped out" the "fact" that Assad used CW against his people 17 times!!

This begs the big question, why after 17 friggin times, now you want to do something?

Is this now, just Obama doing what he has always done, look after Obama and his legacy?

If our intel knew about 17 previous times, I'm sure there are many other counties with the same or close intel.
Is it a wonder that no one else will back us or get involved?

If this video we have all seen on the gas attacks never went viral, would our intel have seen attack 18, 19 or 20 without a peep from Obama?

I am not a "dove" and do believe America must use it's economic and military muscle in the world for the right reason's and interests.

It's sad, but I think this war is only in Obama's interest, to save face from his loose lips and divert attention from his dismal foreign policy over the last 5 years.
