I'm a bit of a castle buff... ...so I'd like to take a tour of the French countryside. Lots of great medieval castles and castle ruins there.

Generally I'm a fan of culture and history, so I have a rather lengthy list. There are places in China and India I would like to see. Several Mediterranean sites. A number of places scattered in Africa. It would take me forever to list them all. I've always said that if I ever won Powerball, I would never be bored. I'd stop working, and spend most of time back in college earning various degrees and traveling the world during the vacations.

I love travel and have mainly travelled alone for the last 10 or so years. My next big trip will be the Antarctic, but people always say "Why the hell would you want to go there?" If I land in Argentina and travel from the southern tip, I will then have done all 7 continents. Something not many people have done. Anyone else here been there yet?

A long time ago when I was stupid in love, we were planning to marry in Antarctica. There is a Norwegian passenger route going there every year I believe. But way too expensive. Ten years ago the price for ten days was about $6.000 a person. Probably more today. And that's not included the flight down to Argentina. Try https://www.hurtigruten.com/destinations/ It's not an continent, but why not try Svalbard in the north? Way cheaper and at just as exciting. Been there three times. Love it!
