If this person is someone on the Mingle2 site, don't be scared because you have the shield of the computer. Give him a holler and tell him how you feel. Be CAREFUL though and tell him that with guarded words. Life will pass you by if you let it. Perhaps this guy is "the one." If he is, you have nothing to lose. If he's not, you'll be able to tell soon enough. Anyway, that's my advice. G.

Both of you ladies are "in love" with the image of a person, an image produced largely from data supplied solely by that person. Not at all reliable and frequently false. Best of luck to you both. You may need it.

Yeah, it's very possible, but doesn't necessarily mean much: the human psyche is very good at projecting and making you feel hung-up on someone.
For instance, if you have been alone for quite some time, got rather desperate to find someone, or when you really crave someone who's nice to you and so on and so forth, we can easily make ourselves believe that there's more going on between our self and the other person than there actually is.
Sometimes we want something so badly that our psyche kind of creates it out of thin air.
Important to check for yourself what it is that's really going on. Did you let your brain put you on cloud nine and lose track of common sense and reality?
Rethink and re-read what has been communicated to find out if you made more of it.

Lol, that's the 20 million dollar question, isn't it?!
Don't stay on cloud 9 too long, regularly descend and plug in your brain? Listen to what's being said and not what you want to think was being said?
If I'm not mistaken us women are very good at interpreting things the wrong way. Women tend to be subtle, men usually don't get our subtle hints at all.
Usually people interpret things the same way we convey ourselves, meaning we probably think he's giving subtle signs, which 9 out of 10 times probably isn't the case at all.

That's what I think so far. Maybe we should start a new thread on this, as it is a real good question and I think one heck of a pitfall for many women.

I might print it and stick it on my mirror, hahahaha. This subject is what I am somewhat concerned about too. I also got the T-shirt, even though I didn't want it, lol.
I know I've changed, gotten much stronger, blabla, but still ... In a way we simply tend to be too eager and often read too much into things.
Maybe women tend to focus on one contact too soon? Put other contacts on hold because one stands out (a bit)?
