Hello there to a fellow rider..... Well this isn't my first rodeo and I'm a long hauler when it comes to traveling. I've done it all and travelled with a buddy , with other bikes, with a passenger, and in the
last 10yrs been traveling by myself and they all have their sides to it. Short rides .... Ya it's nice to have
others around to share with. Long hauls is a diff. story, you don't really know someone until you travel with them. Just last month I did a ride to Elliot lake and then crossed over at Sault Ste Marie on the way back home to head west and wrap up a 4277mi. jouney and that wouldn't of happened in 2 wks. with
others, the more people the more opinions the more time. I've found that by myself is the easiest. But traveling by bike I've met more people than I ever would of in a car. I'm just an older rider yacking at
ya, and saying Hi from alberta so make sure to keep the rubber side down.

Woah there Baker boy,

Looks like a good riding partner if I ever saw one!

I just got my first bike and couldn't help but post up! My first Suzuki DR650 SE. It's and Enduro that will be quite useful here on Kauai. A little on the heavy side, so I won't be shredding the trails with it right off the bat, but it's been a blast so far!

Think I might put a little more street into it and see where that gets me, but I'll always have some dirt tires off to the side if it gets going that direction.

I see that caption of your riding bike! Looks fun and relaxing. We have a no helmet law here in Hawaii, and riding bikes looks like one of the few types that actually get too practice that little gem. Beginner rider here, so not that comfortable yet, plus, it's kinda hard to see that skinny little thing zippin' by sometimes.

If you guys aren't too busy, I just ran across a messed up video of a pack of wild motorcyclist on HEAVY.COM. I think the post is still on the main page, but if not, just search "Range rover runs over bikers" and you will see some messed up shiz... Mahalo folks!

Yes I seen that too that's cazy not only did the suv go to far hit n run and then leaving the scene in my opinion so did the bikers. I can see why they chasing him but I think they should have just chased him and restrained him by surroundings his vehicle and call the cops and let them deal with it very dangerous out there for you guys riding I know I have 3 brothers that ride the only thing I can tell you is try to be safe because the cars don't always see you. And when you get these young kids on them croch rockets flying in and out of traffic it get pretty scary for us too......... But I still love it when I see a large group of bikes I'll stop and watch you guys so enjoy the ride:thumbsup:
