This is possible but...

maiveiau, you never told us
whether you have at some point committed your life to Christ.
That would make it easier to advise you on this topic.

@Maiveiau, CeriseRose was right. You never told us if you have you given your life to Christ. Have you?

I also gave my life to Jesus Christ when i was 8years old. As i grew up seeing that my lifestyle isnt of Christ, i regave my life to Him again on a third Saturday programme we had in our ministry 21th July 2012.
Given your life to Christ is to accept Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and personal saviour to be your first and foremost (that's being born again).
You have to receive, accept Him and believe in Him.
John 3: 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 1: 12. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
Don't attend church that makes you feel comfortable with your wrong doings. Like some churches today that are after music concerts, dancing, comedy, fashion, etc.
I attend WATCHMAN. Look for a bible believing church that preaches the true word of God &give your life to Christ again.

Judge not! Least you be Judged!

If you tell your brethren to stop smoking, gossiping, stealing, or even commit adultery does not mean you judge them.
Ezekiel chapter 3 vs number 18 says: When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Question: "What is the Christian view of smoking? Is smoking a sin?"

Answer: The Bible never directly mentions smoking. There are principles, however, that definitely apply to smoking.

First, the Bible commands us not to allow our bodies to become "mastered" by anything. "Everything is permissible for me—but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me—but I will not be mastered by anything" (1 Corinthians 6:12). Smoking is undeniably strongly addictive. Later in the same passage we are told, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Smoking is undoubtedly very bad for your health. Smoking has been proven to damage the lungs and the heart.

Can smoking be considered "beneficial" (1 Corinthians 6:12)? Can it be said that smoking is truly honoring God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:20)? Can a person honestly smoke "for the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31)? We believe that the answer to these three questions is a resounding "no." As a result, we believe that smoking is a sin and therefore should not be practiced by followers of Jesus Christ.

Some argue against this view by pointing to the fact that many people eat unhealthy foods, which can be just as addicting and just as bad for the body. As an example, many people are so helplessly addicted to caffeine that they cannot function without their first cup of coffee in the morning. While this is true, how does that make smoking right? It is our contention that Christians should avoid gluttony and excessively unhealthy eating. Yes, Christians are often hypocritical by condemning one sin and condoning another, but, again, this does not make smoking honoring to God.

Another argument against this view of smoking is that many godly men have been smokers, such as the famous British preacher C.H. Spurgeon, who was known to smoke cigars. Again, we do not believe this argument holds any weight. We believe Spurgeon was wrong for smoking. Was he otherwise a godly man and fantastic teacher of God's Word? Absolutely! Does that make all of his actions and habits honoring to God? No.

In stating that smoking is a sin, we are not stating that all smokers are unsaved. There are many true believers in Jesus Christ who smoke. Smoking does not prevent a person from being saved. Nor does it cause a person to lose salvation. Smoking is no less forgivable than any other sin, whether for a person becoming a Christian or a Christian confessing his/her sin to God (1 John 1:9). At the same time, we firmly believe that smoking is a sin that should be forsaken and, with God’s help, overcome.

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,

to the which also ye are called in one body;

and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;

teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns

and spiritual songs,

singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

Colossians 3:15,16,17

"Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man;

but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."

The church members all have various vices.

We all do.

The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.

Take special time out to study God's word.

He will teach you all things you need to learn from His Word,

in your lifetime.

Always remind yourself that when you point a finger at someone there are always 3 fingers pointing back at you.

Minister to one another and try to be an example.

Someone may look at your godly manner and want to follow in your footsteps.

Could be the very reason God led your there to begin with.

I am glad the the other children led you that day.
God knows what was in your heart that day whether you were able to verbalize it to other or not.

Rom 8:26, Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27, And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Jesus is forever our High Priest. He pleads our case before the Father.

I hope you continue receiving the Word of God through personal study and through the hearing of anointed sermons.

It's good to get strong christian friends and the bible says to be cautious in friendships. I've learned to take it slow and you become like those you hang around with. So yes don't judge hearts but look at the fruit of others lives and find strong christians that are filled with his love and teachable usually means they are humble too. Ask God to lead you and which church to attend, there are so many and you need one that is grounded in the word but open to \his
spirit. Catherine

God guides every single thing we do, from waking us up to putting us to bed and back again. People have their vices like everyone else. When you tell someone off, it raises eyebrows. You can bring your thoughts up in a tactful and responsible manner. If they value your friendship, they will listen. If they don't, don't judge them. God has plans for them you may not know of. In His time, God straightens all things out. Be at peace with yourself and seek counsel with God because it is He who brings power and grace to your life!!! Peace!

Just relaxe your mind its the same thing every where in the world, you have hypcrites in all the departments of the Church, remember Christ also had one among the carefully selected 12 Apostles, I understand how you are feeling right now, if you find out that you are not comfortable with been with them then seperate from them thats just abt the best way to deal with it cos if you report them they will all become your enemy and they will start calling you names, some might even plan evil for you so my dear thats what we are facing in this world, its very shocking to see those type of activities amongs those who profess Christ but there will always be people like that cos a sinful life is almost the freest kind of life on earth, sin is very sweet and appears to give men freedom while in the real sense they are depriving them selves the true happiness of life so move on with your life let them be, life is all abt choice. Thats my candid advice to you lovely sister
