yeah I have moved it over to email, then FB , then phone. Its a process..only 1 made it through though ...and that didnt work out. Well, Maybe I'll start making them fill out applications first Nobody gets my email or Facebook acct.before i talk or meet them!! Its the cellphone 1st. then from there! Too much information can be obtained there including your Family or friends you message! Its easier to block them from a cellphone first if compatibility is not there!! Good advice Graywolf! I hear ya ..that's why I only let one through so far and even though "IT" didn't work out. I still trust him with that kind of stuff. It just amazes me that someone I barely chatted with would through his number so openly at me and say lets text instead! hlo

Topic: Do you give out your number to anyone? If they are not prepared to begin by sending messages here in Mingle2, they cannot be that interested in me in my opinion. Too many requesting your personal contact number, email address or expect you to move on to another site to chat, and my guess is they are very likely to be scammers, don't waste your time. I agree that you need a video call at some stage, but be as confident as you can be that they really are genuine people first, and that takes time, lots of story tellers on dating sites.

i meet here 1 here and we chatted almost 4months so i decided to give my WhatsApp number. but i guess he is fake because everytime i ask him a video call he said yes but when that day come he use a white lies. so i blocked him️

I don't give my number. i prefere using this site. But i guess if i met someone special here. I will give him my email. Or even my number....i know a lot of scammers and fake profiles are here. But it is a risk to take

Well it depends... Giving and sharing personal information is upto an individual based on the mutual trust both individuals develop after a certain period. So I guess I would be comfortable only after certain duration

No, I don't give my phone number either. Not even when I'm going to meet someone. Done that once and then the guy kept texting till he finally understood that I wasn't interested. But he sent me another text, some 3, 4 months after we'd had the one date, to say he had dreamed about me. He sent that in the middle of the friggin night?! I haven't got a landline, just a cell phone, so no area codes or anything. But I don't want to get phoned, texted or Whatsapped by ppl I barely know or don't want to be in touch with (anymore).

Never give out my number but have been asked for my email. Have given it out but no one writes me. They find out my email is encrypted and based in Switzerland would never give out my real one

The last few times I logged on here I have had a few messages from guys just giving me their numbers and asking me to call or text instead of chatting on here. I dont like that, I want to first determine if you are real before I give out ANY info. Any one else get that? Do you risk it just to get to know someone??
