I don't believe in Fate, that my life is somehow predetermined or mapped out and cannot be changed. I am reasonably happy where I am in life, made mistakes in the past like most people, and I am now fully educated by life's lessons, self taught. Would I turn back time, no, even though the roads I took were maybe not always the best ones, but they were the ones I thought were best at the time. I am content with where I am in life, could have been worse. I have lost friends that sadly never made it that far in their life, never reached retirement, and you count your blessings.
