A few women have said hi to me ... but fail to say much more ... I used to write my heart out now I am saying much less... Is more better or just an aloof comment what do women like? I guess it depends, if not interested then don't reply seems the normal response online, if interested then a one liner is good as a starting point in my opinion. Good luck in your search. |

Okay, I'm at the point that I'll take any offer from any woman (or girl) with daddy issues who can get over the fact that I'm 72 and still not using a walker to get to the car. Nope, I am not into "exercise", nope, I am not rich, nope, I'm not drop-dead handsome (any more-there was a time). BUT, I have a nice car, a nice boat & a truck to pull it with, own my own home in a really nice and safe neighborhood with an extra bedroom if she doesn't want to sleep in my king bed with me, and I can actually cook, wash dishes, vacuum, & take out the garbage and recycling all by myself. (I cheat and use the moto-cart at the grocery store because concrete floors give me a backache after an hour wandering around.) I smoke, but I'm not a drinker, I am fairly intelligent and well-read on almost any subject but I'm not so full of hubris to think I know-it-all (aside from decades of being right almost every time - which is likely a result of what I was born with, not something I learned how to do.) I will accept the dumbest "Box-O'-Rox" going as long as she is pleasing to the eye and doesn't mind if I just like to sit - or go places with her - and look at her while she does whatever she wants to do. (Hell, I don't even care if she is involved the sex industry for a living - I used to know a lot of them when I was much younger and they were all really nice women.) To me that's a fair trade - she gets material support & freedom to do as she pleases and I get to admire the artistry that is the human female form in motion. So, how 'bout it ladies - any takers? Honestly, I don't for a minute believe there are any attractive 50+ women on this site actually looking to make a connection, which is why I feel perfectly confident in making such a lopsided offer. (PS: If it turns out she was to develop real feelings for me, so much the better, I'm ready now to give love another shot and be that mythical unicorn they all say they are looking for - honest to a fault, loyal, devoted, charitable, kind, - and a good time in public or private....that's not my opinion, it's the women I've hung out with that have said so.) Please mention my name if you are oversubscribed.

There are those people, men and women, that have their own hidden agenda. Take your time in getting to know your date, don't rush in to a more serious relationship until you know each other very well. People with those ideas soon reveal themselves, it is far better to find out before you become serious or to marry or live together. Good luck in your search.

Would you be very happy if your partner was thinking of a holiday without you. It could be her going with the girls, or him going with the boys, for a week away somewhere or maybe cruise. I am not sure I would be happy with that, yet many people do, maybe I have trust issues or it's just I want to go as well.

Why not add a security camera near the light, pointed down your drive, they are inexpensive these days. Connected to the electricity supply and linked to your phone so you receive warnings when motion is detected and it is recorded to a sim card, the film of the intruder.(Most have infrared as well and pick up intruders in complete darkness). Easy to install and set up on your mobile phone. They are a very good security measure, there very presence is the best detterent you can have, and it gives peace of mind. I have them and security lighting around outside, and would certainly recommend, especially to anyone living alone like me, or in more rural areas where a camera door bell is also a good idea. My outside lighting is on dusk until dawn, and at 5 watts per led give good lighting and are very cheap to run, they do keep intruders out. Some home insurance companies give discounts to occupiers with these security features. Stay safe.

Given that we are to some extent moulded by our parents, there life experiences, I think each generation is a little different to the next. However, I believe it is our own personal experiences that mould us the most, and I don't consider age or generation gap that important, if you are both on the same page with similar goals in life that matters more in my opinion.

I think maybe fewer looking, because there is a lot more going on in the real world this time of year, parties, celebrations, etc, means more finding dates offline. Possibly more online in the new year looking for a new love because of all the Christmas break ups, due to the extra-relational dating going on caused by mistletoe and wine activity over the festive season.

Maybe they simply just want an older man, so pitch their age within the age range they are seeking to attract, on the basis that most people seek a partner of a similar age. Personally, I believe there are more important criteria than age when looking for a partner, good luck in your search.

hi, so i have never had a relationship ever. i want to know what is off putting about me? lol anyone answer? to be fair i dont actually go out and i keep to myself, im probably autistic or something i dunno. also look at that huge vein on my head, thats totally because ive been single my entire life. it really shows! lol (they removed my head vein photo but the one with the htler looking tash is ok? lol) All the advice given by others here is good, you do need to Mingle more on the outside, hobby clubs, sports clubs, further education, wherever your interests are, places where you meet people in a social setting. In my opinion you need to look at your personal appearance, not that there is anything wrong with how you look now, here is what I mean I found this on the internet: "Personal appearance is an individual's overall presentation, including their dress, grooming, and nonverbal communication, which significantly influences first impressions and is important for professional and personal identity. It encompasses both external elements like clothing and hairstyle, and internal aspects such as posture and demeanor, and can affect perceptions in both social and professional settings. " I would suggest you change your hairstyle to something shorter, shave off your beard and moustache, more women prefer clean cut and shaven men. Remember, your goal here is to attract more women, so in my opinion you need to change your appearance, because the way you are now just isn't working for you. Looking more like the average and usual guy in the street is definitely worth a try. Good luck in your search. |
