Mentally and physically:

The faster you move, the more energy you have. The faster you move, the happier you are and the more enthusiastic and creative you become. The faster you move, the more you get done, the more you get paid, and the more successful you feel. Apply the momentum principle to your life. Once you start going, keep going. Alan Lakem, the Time Management Specialist said that all successful people have a 'bias for action'. The key to getting more done is for you to select your most important task and then to start it with a "Sense of Urgency". This is the Real Key to Success and High Achievement. Start Now and Start Young. The Earlier, The Better...

The real key to success is being who you are regardless of what anyone else thinks or says you should be, and taking pride in that journey.

Everything else is just individual padding.

At the same time the faster you move, the faster you may burn out.

I would say move at your maximum while young and find your proper pace when age starts to set in.

Some who keep the push going way beyond their body and minds abilities get into real trouble later in life. Getting programed to push is cool but there has to be a slow down built into the system too. Later in life sometimes the mind is so triggered that the slow down is almost unachievable and a crash happens.

I'm all for the drive though and agree it is the way to get to the successful place. It's much harder to find the balance after the success happens though and this can be the downfall.

People say "if I only get there" but have no idea how to plan for the changes that happen once there, and many times don't see that they are only built for the climb up and not the maintainance of maintaining. Maintaining is far more difficult and requires far more skill than the climb.

If there are limitations of mind and body (aside from disabling illness or injury) that necessitate "slowing down" (or stop pushing, or setting a proper pace) at any age I haven't encountered them at seventy-four.

Should "burn out" have already occurred since I have been pushing all these years and continue to do so?

lol....got one on the wisdom of youth here...happiness and success are no more than contentment with who you are AND THE EXAMPLE THAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND...it does not matter how long it takes to realize those things or when you start

what "high achievement" is depends on what one considers success to be...

I'm doing quite fine doing the things that are best and work for me. I don't need anyone to tell me how to live my life, as i'm the one who lives it. So I know whats best for me!

Mentally and physically:

The faster you move, the more energy you have.

THE FASTER YOU MOVE THE MORE ENERGY YOU CONSUME. TO USE MORE SPEED/ENERGY THAN YOU NEED TO ACCOMPLISH A TASK ONLY EXHAUSTS YOU CAUSES UNNECESSARY STRESS.

The faster you move, the happier you are

WHEN YOU MOVE SO FAST THAT YOU CAN NOT SAVOR SMALLER SUCCESSES THEN YOU MISS THAT PLEASURE.

and the more enthusiastic

YOU ARE MOVING SO FAST YOU DON'T FEEL MUCH OF ANYTHING BUT BEING PUSHED THROUGH

and creative you become.

TRUE CREATIVINTY IS NOT JUST BRAINSTORMING AND RUSHED INCOMPLETE THOUGHTS IT IS ACTUALLY COPLEATEING A CREATION. otherwise YOU ARE JUST THROWING PARTIAL CONCEPTS OUT AND SEEING WHAT STICKS OR YOU GIVE OTHERS PIECES THEY CAN BE CRATIVE WITH.

The faster you move, the more you get done,

GETTING DONE IS STILL GETTING DONE WHEATHER YOU ACCOMPLISH IT QUICKLY OR SLOWLY. MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER.

the more you get paid,

PAYMENT IS NOT THE ONLY FORM THAT PRODUCES SATISFACTION

and the more successful you feel.

MONEY IN AND OF ITSELF IS NOT GOING TO MAKE YOU FEEL SUCCESSFUL. IF MONEY ALONE MADE PEOPLE FEEL SUCESSFUL SO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE WINDFALLS WOULD BE HAPPY AND MANY ARE NOT.

Apply the momentum principle to your life.

MOMENTUM, LIKE POSITIVE PEER PRESSURE CAN BE GOOD BUT UNCHECKED IT CAN ALSO BE LIKE NEGATIVE PEER PRESSURE AND STEAM ROLL YOU INTO DOING THINGS YOU NEVER REALLY WANTED TO DO OR ENJOY DOING

Once you start going,keep going.

THERE ARE MANY THINGS YOU WILL START AND FIND OUT ONCE YOU HAVE THAT IT IS THE WISER CHOICE TO QUIT OR CHANGE DIRECTION. MUCH OF LIFE IS READY, FIRE, AIM. LIFE IS OFTEN A LEAP OF FAITH IN YOURSELF TO BE ABLE TO ZERO IN ON THE TARGET ONCE YOU GET IN THE WOODS AND CATCH THE SCENT OF WHAT YOU WANT.

Alan Lakem, the Time Management Specialist said that all

ALL BEING THE WORD THAT TELLS ME THIS IS PSYCHOSOCIAL BABLE.

successful

IF THERE EVER WAS A SUBJECTIVE WORD THIS ONE PRETTY MUCH TOPS THE LIST. SUCCESS IS REALATIVE TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND WHAT THEY VALUE. ONE PERSON'S SUCCESS IS ANOTHER ABSOLUTE FAILURE.

people have a 'bias for action'.

SUCESSFUL PEOPLE THAT I KNOW BY MAJORITY BUT NOT ALL HAVE A GREATER BIAS FOR THOUGHT FULL PREPARATION AND BEING READY AND WILLING TO ACT ON OPPORTUNITY.

The key to getting more done is for you

IMHO TELLING SOMEONE ELSE WHAT IS KEY FOR THEM IS ASSUMEING A LOT. THAT YOU KNOW THEM INTIMATELY WHICH A GENERALIZED "YOU" WOULD NOT LIKELY HAPPEN

to select your most important task and then to start it

STARTING WITH YOUR MOST IMPORTANT TASK MEANS YOU ARE PUTTING EVERYTHING ON THE LINE WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? STARTING FROM WHERE YOU KNOW YOU ARE CAPABLE TO BUILD A FOUNDATION OF SKILL AND SUCCESS BEFORE YOU JUMP IN OVER YOUR HEAD AND CRASH AND BURN UPS YOUR ODDS GREATLY.

with a "Sense of Urgency".

"URGENCY"? SOUNDS LIKE THE SISTER TO PANIC AND A COUSIN TO FEAR. MOVEING STEADILY AND PURPOSEFULLY TOWARD GOALS IS HOW I SEE MORE PEOPLE ACCOMPLISH GOALS. IT IS HOW I ACCOMPLISHED MOST OF THE GOALS IN MY LIFE.

This is the Real Key to Success and High Achievement. Start Now

THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONE CONCEPT I BUY INTO FOR SUCCESS. JUST STARTING IS GOING TO GET YOU AHEAD OF NINTY NINE PERCENT OF PEOPLE WHO FAIL BECASUE THEY DON'T START.

and Start Young. The Earlier, The Better...

IMHO THERE ARE A LOT OF FLAWS IN THIS CONCEPT. IF EVERYTHING ABOUT BEING YOUNG IS ABOUT BEING SUCESSFUL AND YOU NEVER LEARN HOW TO OR CAN NOT REMEMBER EVER ACTUALLY ENJOYING ANYTHING WITH A YOUTHFUL WONDER AND PASSION THEN SUCCESS, EVEN EXTENSIVE SUCCESS AND ACCOMPLISHMENT, WILL I PROMISE YOU, WILL MEAN VERY LITTLE TO YOU.

SUCCESSES IS SOMEHTHING A PERSON CAN KICK IN AND ACCOMPLISH AT ANY TIME OF THEIR LIFE YOUNG OR OLD. PEOPLE DON'T GET TO OLD TO LEARN OR REPRIORITISE OR TAKE ON A NEW DIRECTION.

IN FACT MANY WHO ACCOMPLISH GREAT SUCCESS HAD YEARS OF FAILURE AND JUST DRIFTING THROUGH LIFE UNTIL SOMETHING TRIGGERS THEIR INTEREST OR PASSION.

OR THEY JUST GET SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED AND REORIENT THEIR LIFE.

MANY ACTUALLY ALWAYS DEFINED THEIR LIFE A SUCCESS BUT LATER DID SOMETHING THAT REGISTERED AS A SUCCESS TO OTHERS.
