Why? Because I would like to visit there, not just the touristy spots. I want to know what it's really like, in the smaller places. Knowing a few people would be nice. I am born in Australia but there are too many people and it's sunny and HOT here... yuk. No wonder Sweden seems an attractive place to visit lol. I know everywhere has it's problems and it's issues, whether it be social, economic or political. Regardless, my wish is to see this beautiful country. I hope you don't think I'm a freak lol. ;P I play a bit of Entropia too, which happens to be ah... Swedish.
I have lived in 3 different states of Australia, Queensland, Tasmania and now Victoria. I want to do something different. If any of you Swedes have been to Australia, what did you think?

It's a shame we can't do a swap! I want to go to Sweden so badly. Australia is too hot in Summer, I feel sick. I want to experience Sweden, mainly the countryside and anything historic.

I was born in Australia. I need a change now! :)

Hi,
I live in Sweden. Been to Australia a few times. My ex. is from Queensland, Brisbane. We did some travelling around, up to Mackay and down the Gold coast. I loved it over there, the heat, the beaches, the people and so on. And the playgrounds in Brisbane for the kids was fantastic, and not to mention the public pools. And like in Sweden some things was cheap and some things was expensive.

But I missed Sweden, and what I missed most was the snow, shrimps, salt liquorice and ofc my family. To go out in the forest picking mushrooms, like I do here in Sweden a lot. Over in Australia I was so scared of poisonous spiders and snakes. Here in Sweden we just have one poisonous snake, and no spiders like that at all. Some Aussie friends ones said...But you have Bears and Elks... Hmm well to meet a bear in the wildlife, you have to go up north in Sweden and if you see one its very exclusive as they as well as Elks are really scared of people.

There is a lot to see in Sweden if you look for historic things. We have lots of things from the Vikings, like rune-stones and so. We have old castles, ruins, and an fantastic forest to go hiking in.

So if there is anything you want to know, just ask happy
