I can see what your saying here, Seeing the forest through the trees isn't so easy for everyone who isn't in that persons shoes. so let me ask this. If a guy lets her run off to get hurt again instead of speaking up to keep her with him. Then does he really deserve her?

I'm writing to the mingle forum on a Friday night knowing the last post was ages ago, I have had my profile on Mingle for months and I am still alone. I guess I was too honest in my profile, and no one can see what being REAL is REALLY about.

Since I lost my wife to breast cancer, I have remained devoted to my 3 young children, my youngest is just 2yo. I changed from being a full time QC manager and engineer, to full time mum and dad in one.

My reason for getting onto mingle was to keep up my self respect and basic instinct to survive through the hell I have been through by moving forever onward and upward if I can, "if at first.....try, try again!!"

I strive every day to keep my children happy and fulfilled and for me too.

My late wife fell in love with me and told me that I was the perfect man ( I guess that meant 'for her' as I am far from perfect), but regardless of my fitness and looks and attitude to life, no one wants a man who has baggage!!!

I think I am a real man, I'm doing what a real man would do, I'm not giving up....

So, where are the REAL MEN, probably sitting at home on a Friday night wondering why all you beatifull women are wondering where the real men are!

Incidently, I told my wife in the first week we met that we would marry one day, I then courted her for a year before we got married, I enjoyed the courtship.

You missed the point, that making friends comes long before "Putting PEE PEE IN" as you put it, maybe thats why you are still on Mingle since 2007.
