No one reads them. I'm not into younger guys or African American but I heard from them all the time. Guys from places that I never even heard from. I think they just look at the pictures and click on it. PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THE PROFILES.

I actually read profiles to filter out those that emphasize (or in some cases mention) areas in which we are NOT compatible. The first thing is location. If she is hundreds or miles away (or perhaps on a different continent) the hurdles seem all but insurmountable.
If our interests and values appear to be quite different, why bother? If she is looking for traits that I do not possess, there isn't any reason to waste her time or mine. A pretty picture isn't enough. |

Personally I read profile before I look at pictures. But I've been messaged by women who never even viewed my profile, so it goes both ways.

when i am about to view someone's profile , i switch picture display off in the browser : Google chrome ( settings > advanced settings > content settings > images > don't show any image ), then i read the profile , that could give me a very good chance to understand the (person) regardless to how she/he looks .....
