How many of you play games on Steam?

I've just joined it after a long time of closing down my last one.

What are you playing right now? What was your latest purchase?

I used to play games on Steam, but it's been so long ago. I know they do some of the MMORPGs I play through there.

I have been on Steam since I became disabled in 2004 and built my first pc 4 months after touched 1 for the first time from reading on the net and it was famous.

My first game and was what got me into gaming and or computers was Unreal Tournament 2004- seen a friend playing on his suck lil mac- asked about things- he started me a Yahoo account and things went from there. I had never played video games before-- well sorry played pong a few times back in like 1973 I was like 9 years old.

Halflife 2 collectors ed was my next game and hooked since- Was playing ut04 like 17 hours or more a day for 2 years. Many of my games are retail no steam like service but also have gfwl origin and uplay and some games over a few of them. Steam is my main tho and have some 667 games on it now. Going for over 1000 and lev 100 or more. I have more like 750 games total.

My retail stand alone games like Stalker SOC have about 8,000 hours in it. Fallout3- Borderlands I easy have like 3,500 hours in each. Not long ago got the steam versions- but these games and others like Saints Row The Third- SR4- FarCry games- Dead Island games - Dishonored etc etc and have most all the games in the series- is what I like/ love most.. I do not much care for mp anymore or games like cod- nazi zombies is cool- but the sp games is normally short and not worth the money..

I like Defiance ok- Left for Dead 2- Killing Floor and other shooters are cool for me. If not playing alone I like play with lady friends- maybe 1 or up to 6 in a co op game like KF. Gals are fun and good players and normally more easy to get along with. Most all my steam friends have always been women.

I buy many games in bundles I will never play not unless has cards to collect. I am not much into indie games and 15 year old looking playing junk for macs and old amd computers- like top downs side scrollers point and clicks or turn base etc etc- and imo most rpg's suck- has too many keys and have to move my hand all over my keyb while trying to fight in real time.

I prefer the A-RPG games- more less combo shooter rpg's- FPS game' evolved is maybe a good way to explain then-- not just linear.. I build powerful systems and like to max out all DX11 settings- get sick of seeing dx8-9 crap that is still coming out new today.. Ya I like good game and story etc- I also enjoy the immersion of eye candy :)

Well if have my way Id own all of the Steam games.

I am looking to buy next and play is games like The new Wolfenstein game- Dying Light and Hell Raid- Killing Floor 2- Saints Row Gat out of Hell- FarCry4- Alien Isolation- maybe The Evil Within and a few others like- Watch Dogs- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris- loved the last Tomb Raider game- and Tom Clancy's The Division- Fallout4 and a Halflife3 if ever comes out and more :)

System pushing 5 years and can still max near every game out [Metro Last light have to lower a little]- am saving to build a new Intel and Nvidia 970-980 monster..

on steam and play SW KOTOR cause it is the only game that will work on my computer and now i am having issues with it

I play Path of Exile which is similar to Diablo and Titan's Quest. I buy my games from steam but rarely group with others due to having satellite internet. /BOO!

My GTX 970 FTW should be arriving in the mail tomorrow and my new 500g SSD should arrive today.
Should add that I have i7 4770k and 4x2Gb Ripjaws with a Samsung 840 Pro SSD that has my OS and most my games. 560ti is the only thing holding me back but not for long.

As for steam I have everything that came in the Orange box, witcher 1-2, torchlight 2, and all the boarderland games.

I've seen on Steam actively since... 2007, it says. It's where I get 99% of all my new games, simply because it's so convenient to download, and they have sales on bunches of games all the time.
For the Holiday Sale 2014-2015, I just picked up KOTOR 2 (finally!), Call of Duty: Ghosts (just for the Guard Dog killstreak ability), and some expansion content for Borderlands 2.

BL2 is great, I'd avoid the Pre-Sequel, mostly because it sucks. lol

I disagree that it sucks. The gameplay is better but the story and characters are lacking. It is fun if you have friends to play around in it with and if you want to be claptrap.

Unfarmable bosses, crap loot, sad customization, characters that are hard to like (claptrap aside), horrible DLC, i could go on and on.
