Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain, the GOP's standard-bearer in the 2008 presidential race, is now the least popular senator in the country, according to a Public Policy Polling survey released Thursday.

In a survey of his own state voters, only 30 percent said they like the job he's doing; 54 percent disapprove, the poll showed.

The low polling cuts across party lines, the survey found: he has a 35 percent approval and 55 percent disapproval among Republicans; a 29 percent approval and 53 percent disapproval with Democrats, and a 25 percent approval and 55 percent disapproval among independents.

I don't know about Graham but I think McCain should be shunned by the voters of Arizona. I really can't think that the people of Arizona are that stupid to believe McCain actually represents them.

But then McCain as the coward he really is will probably choose retirement over the defeat he is sure to suffer in 2016.

Your in now place to call Senator McCain a coward. I may think he's doing a crappy job and think it's his time to go, he is NOT a coward. If he was he would have taken the cowards way out when he was a POW. He was offered to be leased once they found out his father was in charge of the military down there, his response "Not until every soldier captured before me is released." Not to mention he has already announced he is running again in 2016.

You underestimate Arizona voters

After electing that idiot for two terms as a representative and 6 terms a senator, I don't think so. But there does seem to be a correlation: Arizona, Nevada and California. Maybe they are taught to eat the toothpaste.
