LOOK: The Fruits of Socialism - Venezuelan Food Lines Socialism: Equal Sharing Of The Miseries A user from the popular image sharing site imgur has uploaded a series of photos showing food lines in Venezuela. The lines are undoubtedly the result of new price controls that President Nicolas Maduro has instituted as an effort to tame inflation. http://www.alipac.us/f9/look-fruits-socialism-%96-venezuelan-food-lines-299391/ |

You would just think it's another beautiful day in socialist heaven.. With the MSM focused on Ukraine and the Malaysian 777.. Not much reporting about this.. The MSM is all "non-news". They make you aware of what might be happening, but the truth outside their spin is for you to find out for yourself. THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET! You hear one thing in the news of the west, but if you go to the news in that area of the world it's a whole different story, opposite of what we here are hearing..... it contains more truth than profit driven, political spin. |

LOOK: The Fruits of Socialism - Venezuelan Food Lines Socialism: Equal Sharing Of The Miseries A user from the popular image sharing site imgur has uploaded a series of photos showing food lines in Venezuela. The lines are undoubtedly the result of new price controls that President Nicolas Maduro has instituted as an effort to tame inflation. http://www.alipac.us/f9/look-fruits-socialism-%96-venezuelan-food-lines-299391/ This whole story based on the link is very shortsighted on all that is transpiring in Venezuela. With the death of Chavez, the country has been in mass turmoil, not from within which is a people's prerogative but from without, specifically the US. The problem stems from Maduro is somewhat like Odumbo, not qualified to lead a government that is under attack from outside sources. Maduro like his predecessor, Chavez, maintains a strong line on US interference in his country and after all, Venezuela is sitting on top of what is recognized the world's largest oil reserves. So here the US government goes again, toppling a democratically elected government they don't like to install a puppet we can bribe. But here is a real interesting story on the food shortages: Could smuggling be to blame for Venezuela's food shortages? And here is another UK story from the Guardian detailing that there is no real food shortage, just where and how much to get it: Venezuela food shortages: 'No one can explain why a rich country has no food' Now while a lot of the problems stem from Maduro being as effective as Odumbo in running a government that is an internal problem for the people of Venezuela to resolve free from foreign influence. Now many say the the problem is "Socialism" but I would ask why that would be the issue. After all, the US, England and most of Europe all practice the same form of government. The only real difference I can see is that Venezuela robbed the big oil companies to steal the money to support welfare for the people while the others robbed the middle class people to support corporate and individual welfare. For some reason I'm inclined to think that Venezuela would be a little freer than the US, England and Europe. Wonder why? |

Why not check it out,and apply for a Venezuelan Trial-Citizenship! Lots of their problems stems from the Idiots giving away Oil to all their Cronies at,or even below cost! Free-er? ![]() Been there when it used to be a fairly nice country, but like most of central and south America where corruption is rampant, dirt poor. But why go there, US or Europe is just more of the same without all the turmoil of someone trying to overthrow the government. Everybody seems to hate Socialism except when it's their country, then it's ok. But nothing is really going to change. The US and EU will continue to topple the governments of the people and install puppets just like the Ukraine, Egypt, Libya and so many others. The US has screwed Central and South America for a long time and install little dictators that allowed our corporations to rape the people. And then we wonder why they accept socialism, pretty much like the US government has, promise the people something they want, in the case of Central and South America, the US government out of their lives. Ironically, the US entitlement crowd do it to "keep" the government in their lives. Imagine that. And as to Venezuelan oil, it's theirs', they may do whatever they want with it because like in the US and EU, the idiots elected them. But what I can't understand is how one could support socialism in one breath and condemn it in the next. Thank god I live in a republic where one is free to ignore the choices of others and live their life as they see fit, so long as they are willing to stand up for it. |
