Where do i start....i messed up & had a 12yr drug addiction & lost everything & became homeless...then i sorted my life out & became really ill with crohn's disease...i got so ill that i thought i may die...i waited 3yrs to get diagnosed & they missed diagnosed & went under the knife due to an error....now i'm just starting to get on my feet.
Addiction & homeless makes you realise who your true friends are (not that many) & scared you may die really makes you appreciate what's important in life....family & good friends.....money & possessions will not give you true happiness |

Top man....i was a heroin addict for 12ys & people treated me with disgust.. i worked hard everyday & never broke the law...i just had a problem but i was scum in the eyes of society... I still get judged walking down the street because of my dress sense & look....i would never hurt anyone unprovoked & would be at the aid of anyone who needed help know matter who they was.
Thank you for treating people equally no matter what there appearance or problem :) |

Thank you for treating people equally no matter what there appearance or problem :) I was taught to never judge a book by its cover - persevere and don't forget to look at yourself in the mirror every day and say 'good job, I got through yesterday positively and I am going to do it today!'

My fear of being judged, used to hold me back. I realized that I have a right to exist. And nobody is that superior. Self-Confidence and hope and determination. I then felt nothing could stop me. I never judge a book by its cover I listen an then help that's just me maybe that's y my friends come 2 me 2 help them out or it might just b that most of them are girls lol so if you want a friend that won't judge you drop me an inbox and I'll pass you my email address for friendship only as I've got a partner but always here to help out anyone if I can chin up shy elmo ;) Thanks. That's real nice of you. I'm kind of over it these days. This was years ago. When I was twenty two, so that's quite far back. Also, someone I was really good friends with, had dissapeared from my life, and it knocked me for six. It was grief mixed with anxiety. When you've known someone for years, and seen them every day, it feels almost wrong that they're not here. But now that me and this friend are talking again, it's helped me feel relieved :) Shy_elmo_chick I've sent a friend request ova 2 u so we can chat also my offer of my email addy is still there so we can chat as friends coz that's all I'm lookin 4 :) |

You're spot on...we all make mistakes it's human nature but it's what you do after the mistake that matters....if you can look in the mirror & say i done my best & if i get knocked down i'll get up & try again then is'nt that all the really matters...we try our best to be a better person

Realizing I can get by, without having to ask for help. I'm one of those who is very independent. I know how to handle most situations. So I'm completely fine.
