This is really a sad state of affairs, not the statistics but the outcomes. Someone dies at the hands of a servant shouldn't be a statistic but a tragedy. However this tragedy then becomes a travesty when the people do nothing but cry and rant. Always with the "what are they going to do about it?"

But even that is a joke, nothing really gets done, the culprit just ignored and walked out.

And then comes the bandits, the lawyers. They file law suits against the city or county and get a whole lot of the taxpayers money. Why, that taxpayers didn't do it. Wasn't the city or county either, they are just fictions on a piece of paper, incapable of physical actions including arrest.

The answer lies in the people. We already know that the bandits will cling together an defend each other against the rights of the people. Even if criminal actions are bought, which most don't, the courts will stand with the servants the large majority of the time.

Therefore, their is only one action that will get results, a civil suit, not against the pieces of paper at the expense of the taxpayer but directly against the perpetrators.

And that action does not stop with the one that pulled the trigger but any and all that failed to take action to protect the public and stand on their oath. Get a judgement under common law, take everything they own or ever will own. Leave them in the gutter wondering if their next meal will still be in that dumpster when they get there.

Now I don't mean to hurt those that acts where justified, where it was a matter of one life over the other, the officer has that right. But that is a very rare incidence, not what is really happening.
