seeing what isn't there

let me repeat two points

1. I don't expect any man/woman , organization, etc, to be perfect and get everything RIGHT every time


and

2. there seems more concern and accountability in 'mainstream' old fashioned news sources as to the integrity and validation of their reports than there is on the world wide web,,,,

seems: to appear to be something or to do something : to have a quality, appearance, etc., that shows or suggests a particular characteristic, feeling, etc

so, yes, any news channel, network can and no doubt has and does have slant on some of its stories , but internet and cable SEEM to do it more often and with more impunity

and no, I cant and don't feel a need to 'validate' what I personally observe or what my perceptions are(Based on my experiences, which cant be 'proven' on an internet forum)

My.#1.. my self esteem..

I really don't admire how just because we are on social site's, it should be the main way to talk with friends/family/lover. For me, there's nothing like hearing a voice on the phone. It makes it sem more real, aswell. And I want the person I'm talking to, hear my tone of voice, so that I can't be misunderstood. Unlike typing, where you can't tell. I don't give a hoot if I sound old-fashioned. Just because something is modern, it doesn't mean it will seem better.
