Really?

Let us all hope, for the sake of her soul, the man her family killed really did molest her.

We are all aware, she has always been a good actress.

taking an unwarranted out of left field accusation about what someone MAY have done at 8 years old, in an RIP thread about them at 86 ?

8 year olds feel guilt when bad things happen, that's what they DO. Never heard of how children of divorce feel it was their fault?

RIP, doesn't mean throw out subtle character assassinations of a child.

There is no statute of limitations on murder..... even for an 8 year old.

And as far as her being a good actress.... another matter of opinion as well

GOOD LORDwhoa whoa

the stupid and baseless accusation wasn't that she KILLED anyone, so that is beside the point

this allegation is about the WORDS of a child, to throw some shame or shade on her memory in death.

I like her poetry. Doesn't mean I have to respect her for any other reason.

How well did you know her personally?

only people I know WELL are my family, yet I share opinions and speak on people I have NEVER MET,, just like EVERYONE else who participates in politics threads,,

and accusing of lying about rape is far beyond just not respeting her 'for any other reason' its outright disrespect bordering on slander,,,

And you think others have a problem with reality rofl

where did I state that?

is it a trend to make baseless accusations when people are trying to remember someone that's passed?

MsH, you should know by now that is going to happen here. Calm down, take a deep breath and read some poetry.

way ahead of yaflowerforyou

Any proof of what happened to the family member/members who killed the alleged attaker?

The fact that the adult American Negro female emerges a formidable character is often met with amazement, distaste and even belligerence. It is seldom accepted as an inevitable outcome of the struggle won by survivors, and deserves respect if not enthusiastic acceptance --- Maya Angelou

I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a *****. You've got to go out and kick ***.-- Maya Angelou

hate? that's definitely interesting,,

don't know of ANYONE who has heard or read her works who ever came to that conclusion,,,, but that would explain ALOT about some of the comments here,,

Her being black made her "courageous" and "intelligent"? I guess that is what made her inspiring to other libs.
