Are Bonds Signaling a Recession, or Warning of a Market Crash?

For starters, first-quarter GDP went into the red. The reading was down by 1%. And retail sales, a key barometer for future production, have not exactly been barn-burning numbers. And yet somehow the S&P 500 Index hit a new all-time high of 1,924.03 on Friday. The math just doesn't add up.

Why would it be that I would have a hard time even imaging in my wildest dreams that investing and yourself would be even remotely related. I mean if I'm wrong, please jump right in here.

But not to worry yourself, Belgium will pick up another 120 to 150 billion in treasuries and Nigeria along with Ukraine will probably want to help by showing their new friends what sports they are. Now add to that the 45 billion of QE from the Fed, and things are just peachy, probably drive Wall Street up by another couple hundred points.

But no need to worry your little head, all those retail closures are just the weak stores anyway and those first quarter numbers have all been blamed on the bad weather. I mean just today there were some trend numbers on housing costs in Northern Virginia being up by double digits with corresponding increase in taxes.

Hey, not to worry, only those that know what these numbers mean would actually worry. For everyone else, there is still some upward movement left. Don't pay any attention to crap like this; Cost of Living in U.S. Increases by Most in Six Months. Imagine those guys over at Business Week trying to put a damper on the party, after all, wasn't their 192,000 jobs added in March?

We need something more recent to ratchet up the conspiracy fueled paranoia.

But no need to worry, the sheeple .. the sheeple .. the sheeple..

Sure it does, is that an intellectual strain for you to look, need help, well here we go:

Keiser Report: Episode 609

Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss investors picking up nickels in front of steamrollers as both stocks and bonds soar.

Perhaps I could suggest that one consider some refresher indoctrination courses, while the benefit may be questionable, it definitely couldn't hurt. Perhaps one of my alma maters, University of Maryland is offering Research 101 or Preparation for Debate for Beginners.

You may also want to check into that sheeple thing, I would suggest Getting Sheered 101.

The ALL is mind, the universe is mental, thoughts lead to the manifestation of things and events. Thoughts create our store of existence and the quality of our experience here on earth. Therefore, be responsible for everything you create by being responsible for everything that you think. Everything that happens has to do with the mental state that preceded it. Thought forms first and then they form the physical reality afterward.
If you want to change reality, then you must change the way you think because the way you think is not conducive to the requirements for getting what you say you want. Think like a sheeple, get like a sheeple.

Freedom and morally are directly proportional.
As morality increases, freedom increases
As morality declines, freedom declines
Another way of saying this would be to say that the presence of truth and morality in the lives of the people of any given society is inversely proportional to the presence of tyranny and slavery in that society. True freedom can never exist in a society that embraces "Moral Relativism" (the idea that there is no inherent and objective difference between right and wrong, so humanity may arbitrarily "create" or "decide" right and wrong for themselves).

Some surveys state that 66% of the people believe in Moral Relativism.
