At this point in time most of my posts across the boards have been silly, flirty, and hopefully witty and funny but a few weeks ago this happened.
Some off you have already read and commented on this so sorry to bore you, but it had such a profound effect on me I think it is worthy of repeating.

This post was my first honest observation and the raw emotion it made me feel is what convinced me to tell you all.

Don't get me wrong I am very happy being single, but........
Something happened to me at work yesterday that shook me to my core.
A girl fell down and I was right there, I offered my hand and assisted her up and onto her feet. But as she put her hand in mine I felt a warmth and intensity of emotions I'm struggling to describe shoot through me. It made me realise I have not held a womens hand in over 5 or 6 years maybe more, and to feel that even though it was only a helping hand was so special.
I cant wait to hold someones hand for the very first time again, to feel the warmth and softness, to feel the texture of a loved ones hand as we gently apply pressure and entwine our fingers together.
It will be a very special moment.

hmmmm:smile:

A couple of you have inquired about our big fish, so here goes,

Migaloo is a albino humpback whale. When he was first sighted he was the only known all white whale in the world. As he migrates up the east coast of Australia from Antarctica to the warmer waters of Tropical North Queensland his distinctive all white colouring has allowed people to report sightings all up the Eastern coast.

We have enjoyed his company for 20 years now.

Up until September 2011 Migaloo was thought to be the only all white Humpback Whale in the world. Then footage emerged of a albino baby humpback calf. This new white whale unofficially named MJ (Migaloo Junior) has delighted people from around the world.

It really is mother nature at her brilliant best and hopefully this new all white whale will live as long as the average humpback whale (50 years).

Migaloo is protected under Australian law

albino humpback...very nice, very rare...what a treat!
