Many of you will remember the story of Mohammed al-Durra a child who was killed by IDF fire in September of 2000. This story has many holes and finally the French news agency that filmed the shooting will have to release the full tape. You can read about some of the inconsistances in the link below.

Please don't turn this into a flame fest against me. A court of law considers this worth investagating. I just want to know the truth of what happened and I would like to have the questions the exist answered.

No flame-fest, Spider.

I have an honest question.

Why did the French news agency not release the tape then, and why weren't they made to release it till now?

I haven't read the link you provided yet, so I don't know if it provides the answer. I appreciate any help with this. Thanks:smile:

Because the French don't have discovery laws like the US. In the US, the news agency would have been forced to give a copy to anyone who sued them over the news story, but that isn't true in France. The video is 27 minutes long and nobody outside of France 2 has seem more than about 30 seconds.

The boy was shot in the back, but the IDF was in front of him, the only people behind him were Palestinians. The bullet holes in the wall were round, but the IDF was at a 30 degree angle which would have created slanted, oblong holes. A concrete barrel blocked Muhammad and his father from the IDF and there were no bullet holes on the barrel itself. Lots of problems with the accepted story.
