I must admit that we were all happy with the arrangement at one time. And it seemed to work since the girlfriend didn't like to be alone when I went to work. We were determined to make it work since it would be financially easier on all of us. The girlfriend and I had jobs. The friend eventually got a job and it lasted for a while till the guy she worked for no longer needed her. The girlfriend started meeting a old male friend down the road. She started watching his children but as she said I couldn't afford her alcohol. As long as it was just the beer it seemed to still work. She was a lot of fun but then she started drinking stronger stuff. Then the next thing you know she couldn't make it to her job any more. So for longer periods of time she stayed with him as he temporarily took her with him on his electrical jobs. But then one day when I was sleeping I woke up with a fist to the face from the father of her children. They weren't married but she got her children part time on the weekends since he had kicked her out when she first came to stay with me. And then those two guys got into it. The father of her children and her other male friend were at odds. The father apologized to me and asked me did I understand why he got so mad when he came over to take his kids back and they were not here. The father was not mad at me any more since we had been friends for a long time. He just wanted to know where his kids were. He told me that the girlfriend and him were through and had been for a long time. He just lost it that day since his eldest son from an earlier marriage had hanged himself and he just wanted the girlfriend to talk with it about since she helped raise that son herself as a step mother. Her male friend for years wanted to protect her from the father since he was an abuser to her he thought. So one night after the father had trusted her and her male friend to watch his kids the male friend got extremely drunk when the father came over and shot the father twice from four rounds. But the male friend slipped on the ice and broke his neck killing himself. Later her and me went to visit the father in the hospital. He had a bullet to the stomach and one higher up. The father's brother had been watching the children. The father has been going to AA and doing well. My friend and me took the girlfriend so that her her parents could help her. She called me this last week at work and said she is working now. I told her that the cops had came to visit and was wondering where she was.

I feel like a person is going to do what they want to...so it shouldnt be any secret about the side chick if your going to stay with that person who has a need for extra...
