Especially the democratic government is making the public fools like donkeys. All other form of governments are also doi v more or less the same regarding this. Wrong propaganda is the new method for getting public support, few example are western hands in asia, saying chinese ........ are bad, etc. All political leaders are more or less having a luxurious life at the expense of publiic money

it is that which considers it self a victim that blinds it self to it's own potentials and degenerate it's own intellect.

I suspect governments have very little to do with what makes so many so foolish,

though "government" is often an excellent topic for them to show their foolishness.

the only thing that can keep a human down and unable to extricate it self from it's own less than desirable existence, is being deceived by it's own minds to believe in a fair and unfair...

and who says they cannot or shall not do as they do?

is it being done?

than it can be done, and so it shall be done.

how can one plan for what shall exist, if one thinks that if it is illegal or unfair it shall not occur?

one must rid it self of these childish utopian beliefs that create dystopia for one self most.

to love and live in reality is to remove the blinders that having laws creates in the mind, that such laws are somehow based upon fair and unfair, then one will be able to SEE.

discard the belief in fair and unfair, and one unshackle it self from your own greatest weakness of feeling protected by what speak of fair and unfair, and of what tout it promotes self's own interest over it's own...

forsake such notions as the illusion that fill the world with mental illness and poverty, and one self will be able to create great as those that rule over you create...

for these you speak of are able to create as they do because they do not subscribe to any belief in them self of fair and unfair...

to believe in fair and unfair will reduce one self to feeling gratitude for only the scraps from the producers, and make one self only a simple minded emotional consumer...

is it not so that which achieves what it wants be the smartest amongst the group?

if any has come and rule over, was it not smarter than the ruled?

if one has not achieved what it self wants, the simplest of notions that thinking self be complex do hide, than it is only because one does not look to it self as the unwise, that keep one from being able to change it...

and this cause one to follow it's emotions of what is fair and unfair, it's emotions of how self SHOULD be treated, when indeed, one self will never be treated the way it deem it self SHOULD be treated, until it self has forsaken the very notion of any SHOULD to exist at all.

if one learn from that which rules over, from that which belittle, from that which speak all manner of accusation and guile, one will as well learn how to achieve what it self wants, and not believe that to protect the ego shall ever be able to create a grand excellent existence for one self or it's loved one's.

and when one does achieve what it wants, by unshackling it self from fair and unfair, or how it self SHOULD be treated, the true tell of lasting wisdom is will one lose what it has achieved...

rest assured, nothing that reached up the greatness ladder of achievement peered through fair and unfair, and the moment it self does, it will descend backwards down the ladder back to the ground, the time it takes to hit ground proportional to how high it climbed the ladder up.

there is no doubt it is very hard in your country, but it is completely self sabotaging to be dazzeled by the illusion of happy all around in the world outside of one's own, for believing so and you will but follow an illusion as a carrot dangled before your eye's by that which seeks to make you it's consumer, it's buyer, it's slave, as it is prudent to recall, these that prosper such notions of having stuff create happy are the producers of the stuff and so the show, and you only become a consumer if you buy the fools belief in fools gold being sold to you...

most that you peer at thinking it be unfair what they have, live in a insatiable unsustainable black hole of unfillable dissatisfaction, and so will topple them selves, and are filled with pain and anguish, turned to rage and despise of most humans, having to live with a black hole of dissatisfaction never fillable no matter what they induce them self to experience to quell it...

and the impossible is begun to be achievable the instant one forsakes fair is the way it self SHOULD be treated as it's guide, hence it will no longer peer at life through enemy and none enemy, hence it will have outwitted not it's enemy, but rather it's worst enemy, it self.

<--- Fool (with a couple of questions)

You're too intelligent to vote? Why, then, are you here discussing "Politics"? Yanno, since you're too intelligent and therefore know better than to participate.

what

three men are in a ring, and the announcer steps forward and grabs the micro speaker and declare aloud to the crowds, "pick one of these 3 to be thine master and ruler"...

the one you pick or if you pick one at all, we leave to each it self.

and this be how we know we live in a free world.

where all live and let live.

and live and let choose, what each it self wish to do.

what

davidben1's photo

and b the way, i never said not to vote?

where did you get that from?

nor never said i do not vote...

it was rather most meaning one does not have to lower one's own standards just because one may see others doing so, thinking that in doing so progress has been achieved...

in other words, if others are stealing, one does not need to feel pressured to steal it self because others are doing it, nor does one have to vote for a thief, but rather to wait until the thieves have been discovered and apprehended, if as the OP declared, his countries managers are stealing and corrupt

principles, not advice...

for i do not tell others WHAT THEY should do...

and if per chance you ever do hear me slip and tell another what human action they should do, i would beg thee to bring such to my attention, as indeed, it would be an unintended oversight on my part, and of course, i would subjugate my self in the matter...

people that tell others what they SHOULD DO, are controlling type people, and disrespect the free will and happiness of many others in doing so...

and i do not wish to be a part of or add to that frenzy...

live and let live, is to allow each to make THEIR own choices.

hell, again, that is what FREEDOM IS.

You are correct...you didn't "say" anything; you typed:

only foolhardy people take part in foolhardy things.

wise men watch while foolhardy people destroy one another, and so live in peace with them self and other wise ones.

You interjected it in the middle of a discussion where others were stating it doesn't matter WHO one votes for, it's all the same difference in the end.

You're welcome.

so sorry you did not like my story...

i wrote it that way NOT for the reasons you may think...

but i see how it could be defined that way...

anyhow...

and i do not consider my self "intelligent"...

the wise man in the proverb so to speak, is referring to the OP, not my self.

as he sounded like he is quite disgruntled...

so to call him wise, was intended to help him perhaps see through his quite pronounced emotions, as in his country, certainly it is not wise to perhaps put one self in harms path by accusing the managers of shady dealings, respecting and realizing they do not have the privilege of living in the land of the free called America.

that was all, nothing more, nothing less.

sorry it offended you.

peace offerings.

all be love, and all is love, when love doth reign...

hehehe...

ah, it is hard these days not to offend someone, as each have their own sorta list of words they feel others should and should not say...

i try to dance between the embers of all emotions, and not burn anyone...

not easy, but i am getting better each moment, since it is VERY IMPORTANT to me...

as peoples emotions are their lives, and i respect that.

peace to peace!

It didn't "offend" me. As a matter of fact, "offend" never even entered the equation.

But, since you're hellbent on it, I got "offended" because you deliberately ignored my questions to you the first time 'round and instead chose to create and share a nifty little parable, rather than address my post to you, while quoting my post to you in which I'd asked you specific questions.

In any event, it's over now. You DO vote and/or you don't really believe that people who vote are fools.

it seems ye be, hell bent on forcing me, to do what you demand for me to do, not i you.

who ask a question, then demands an answer?

smiles...

i don't make a habit of answering questions i know to begin with are simply and only antagonistic when asked...

my oh my, aren't you just wrangling me my dear...

i dare say what you brought forth so discontented with in my post in particular, was what you read into it, one of the many many many meanings of words that can exist.

and out of kindness to you, i did take the time to explain MY MEANING regarding it, something i did not have to do...

if you provide me with a list of things you deem acceptable and allowable for me to speak that are acceptable to you, i will consider them, and see if i can agree, so that i do not displease.

i answer to whom i please...

just as i can see you do.

so ditto's to equal rights of all.

peace beautiful person
